On November 14, we invited rural tourism entrepreneurs to participate in an informative seminar - "Rural tourism marketing activities in the Japanese market". Representatives of "Lauku ceļotājs" participated in the seminar, who introduced the goal, tasks, completed and planned activities of the project "CAITO - Meta cluster for attracting the Japanese tourism market". Santa Feodorova, a representative of the travel agency "Baltic Travel group", shared her experience with rural tourism entrepreneurs - an inbound travel agent responsible for travelers from Japan. Gunta Grīnberga-Zālīte, a representative of the Latvian University of Agriculture, presented statistical indicators of Japanese tourists, marketing tools and the peculiarities of Japanese culture. In turn, Juris Smaļinskis, a representative of "Lauku ceļotājs", shared his experience and observations about 2 Japanese experience trips to Latvia, Estonia and Finland and provided an insight into the summary of the feedback from the trip participants.
