Усадьба Бланкенфельде расположена в Земгале - в часе езды от Риги. Усадьба имеет статус национального культурного памятника. Название усадьбы впервые было упомянуто во времена Курляндии и Семигалии - когда в период с 1689 - 1701 г.г. владельцем являлся Эрнест Фон Медемс. В 1891 году владельцами становится род Ханов. В усадьбе насчитывалось 16 зданий. Хозяйский дом – построенное в 18-ом веке одноэтажное здание с двускатной крышей. В 19-ом веке его перестраивают в стиле классицизма. В 1925 году в здании обустраивают приют для психически больных людей, а после Второй мировой войны - дом инвалидов. В настоящее время усадьба восстановлена и находится в частной собственности. Рядом с усадьбой находится родовое захоронение семьи Ханов, которое восстановлено и очищено. Восстановлен красивый приусадебный парк Бланкенфельде, в котором оборудована современная детская площадка, а в реконструированных конюшнях - на первом этаже основан музей колоколов, а на втором - современные гостиничные номера, где можно остаться, наслаждаясь атмосферой усадьбы, спокойным отдыхом, и на следующее утро - вкусным завтраком. Доступны помещения также в восточном крыле особняка, где можно отдохнуть в отдельных номерах - апартаментах. Усадьба предлагает помещения для проведения мероприятий и торжеств до 60 человек. В парке усадьбы расположены места для палаток и пикника. Можно осмотреть коллекцию колоколов. |

By the beekeeping farm “Kalniņi” there is a Bee Hut – small wooden house in which you can feel the presence of bees. The hives with seven bee families are built-in the sides of the Bee Hut, but inside the building they are designed as beds or seats. When looking at the building from the outside you can see the bee runs and also bees themselves. In addition, “Kalniņi” also offer different types of bee products – honey, pollen bread, beautiful and aromatic wax candles. It is possible to taste beekeeping products and enjoy a cap of warm tea. Families with kids can participate in educational workshops, learn how to make wax candles and gain information about the daily life in the beekeeping farm. Since summer 2018 everyone can also visit the House of Crafts, where you can participate in different activities such as Encaustic painting (also known as hot wax painting), create wooden souvenirs with burnt folk signs as well as create wax candles etc. The House of Crafts offers different itineraries for grownups, kids, youngsters and newlyweds. There you can also purchase the offered products - various flower honey, pollen, pollen bread, propolis, cell honey and wax candles. |

The flats of Saules Kvartāls (Block of Sun) are found in the city centre and at a 15-minute walk from the Ventspils Olympics Centre and the skateboard park, 10 minutes from the Reņķa garden, 15 minutes from a children’s playground and other tourist destinations. The nearest store is just 100 metres away. There are three types of rooms at Saules Kvartāls – a studio flat for a family, a small room for two, and a two-room studio type flat. All of the apartments have a television set and WIFI, as well as a small kitchen where you can boil water in a kettle. There is also a stove along with kitchen equipment and utensils. All guests have a common use grill with the necessary equipment to use free of charge. There are also garden furnishings, a trampoline for the kids, and a sauna. |

Kaltene is home to a memorial house that has been set up in honour of Andris Kārkliņš, who was known as the first internationally recognised flamenco guitarist of Latvian origin. Known as Andres El Leton, he was a composer, poet, writer and photographer. Visitors will learn all about the artist’s life and work via audio and video recordings. Up on the second floor of the building is a small creative workshop (SIA “Rakstu Raksti,” where people produce applied arts items such as folk costumes, linen products, accessories, souvenirs, etc. They sew apparel and home textiles from linen and other natural materials. The workshop has floristics specialists, and it accepts orders on sewn, knit and crocheted products. Master classes are also available. Visitors will enjoy local produced foodstuffs from the Roja Administrative District (fish, wine, cheese, conserves, jams, teas, etc.). Handicrafts and souvenirs are available for purchase. |

The pond covers 2.3 ha, and its average depth is 4m. Since 2013, it has been home to carps, tench, catfish, crucian, pike, roach, perch and other types of fish. There are also two kinds of crabs in the pond. The territory offers not just the joy of fishing, but also relaxation for the whole family. Любой человек может в ходе экскурсии узнать о лекарственных растениях, которые могут быть необходимы именно для него. В парке есть места для активного отдыха - мини-футбольное поле, босаногая тропинка, детская полоса препятствий, беседка и природный класс. 2. Сельский дворик с мастерскими и мини-зоопарком. Под большим навесом или в избушке у камина Вы можете попробовать свои силы в традиционных и современных ремеслах. Наслаждаясь ароматом сосен, елей, лиственниц и луговых трав, можно поиграть в различные игры и получить удовольствие от общения с милыми животными. Наши мастера предлагают следующие мастерские: Ткачество из трав, kовка прикладных изделий, Приготовление мыла, Мукомольная Мы принимаем группы детей и взрослых в количестве 10 - 40 человек. Экскурсии и занятия проводятся на латышском, английском и русском языках. Предлагаем место для пикника. По Вашему желанию, разработаем подходящую для Вас программу. The “Pie Daugavas” glamping site is on land which has been passed down from generation to generation on the banks of the Daugava River and on the boundary between Jaunjelgava and Sērene. There are eight furnished glamping tents to rest in comfort on the banks of the river. The tents are 5m wide and 3m high, with carpeting to soothe your feet, a comfortable mattress that will ensure comfort for your back, as well as an easy chair into which you can sink with a book in hand. Electricity and WIFI will keep you linked to the outer world. You can reserve a Latvian-made jacuzzi with a wood-fired internal stove and installed hydro-massage and LED lighting. A spherical cupola tent with 65 m2 is also available. A new aspect at the tent in the summer of 2023 was a series of concerts on the banks of the Daugava. |
