DabaLaba is in one of the places in Latvia that has the very lowest population density per square kilometre. There are huge forests around our venue with lots of animals, clean rivers and lovely forest lakes. DabaLaba launched operations in 2010 by renting boats. The next season we set up an archery range and started to offer guided tours of the surrounding environment – hikes, safari trips down the forest roads of the “Ance Swamps and Forests” restricted area, interesting, merry and lovely moments outdoors, hunting with your camera, as well as special trips for schoolchildren. Boats and SUP boards can be rented in Irbe, Rinda, Stende, Engure and Lonaste (or elsewhere on the basis of a separate agreement). Since August 2018, DabaLaba has offered the restaurant #Mežā during the summer months. It is in the centre of the forest and offers pure, tasty and healthy dishes made of local ingredients and no preservatives or additives. The menu has dishes for vegetarians and vegans, as well as dishes with no gluten and no lactose. We also have a country sauna where two people can spend the night after taking their sauna.

The Saulgriezes guesthouse is near Bernāte with 10 flats of different types and sizes. There is a pine forest near the guesthouse, and the beach is 500 m away. Бириньский замок построен в 1857 - 1860 гг. как родовое поместье графов Пистолькорсов. Замок в неоготическом стиле спроектировал архитектор Риги Ф. В. Гесс. Около замка установлены обелиски A. и Н. Пистолькорсам. До наших дней в замке сохранилась ценная второй половины XIX века декоративная отделка внутренних помещений. Бириньский замок перестраивался в начале XX века по проекту архитектора Р. Х. Цирквица. С1926 по 1995 гг. здесь размещался санаторий. В наши дни комплекс замка используется для проведения различных мероприятий, здесь обустроена гостиница, ресторан и музей. |
