Eine Unterkunft auf dem Lande, in einem Dorf oder in einer Stadt für eine größere Zahl von Gästen – für feierliche Veranstaltungen. In Gästehäusern sind mindestens fünf Räume, wo man übernachten kann, sowie ein größerer Raum für gemeinsame Erholung. In der Regel werden auch zusätzliche Dienstleistungen angeboten: Verpflegung, Sportplätze und die dazu gehörige Ausrüstung, sowie andere Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten.

Ein Gästehaus ist in einer vor ~ 180 Jahren gebauten Mühle eingerichtet. 7 km von der Stadt Rūjiena entfernt, am Ufer des Rūja-Flusses gelegen. Den Gästen stehen nicht nur gemütliche Zimmer, sondern auch Räume für Feiern zur Verfügung. Exkursionenangebot. In der Mühle wird immer noch Korn gemahlen und Wolle verarbeitet.
