The Kalnmuizas Castle

Kalnmuiza (Hohenberg) is a renovated castle of the Livonian Order which was built in the 15th century. In the 18-19th centuries the owners of the castle were the noble kin of Fon Bruken – Fok (von Brucken, genannt Fock), and during their rule the castle was constantly developing, a new owner mansion was built, as well as a variety of outhouses. The coat of arms of this kin has been preserved till nowadays. The castle is situated in an especially preserved territory of the ancient valley of the river Abava, next to a small river Amula. It is very popular with the tourists, and is situated in the proximity of various historical sights and places. It offers accommodation in single and double rooms, tent sites, event facilities.

The Skrunda Estate

Skrunda Manor is located on the bank of the River Venta, on the side of the Riga-Liepāja highway. It is a hotel with 12 comfortable rooms, banquet halls, and conference rooms. The manor restaurant uses products grown in Latvia and produced by local farmers, offering its guests to taste original local dishes, such as carp croquettes with homemade rhubarb mayonnaise, pork belly with birch leaf syrup and celery, and a selection of ice cream made in the manor.

The Birini Castle

The Bīriņi estate complex and the park was built in the 18th-19th century. The castle itself was built in 1860, and exemplifies a successful mixture of styles - the architecture is dominated by the Neo-gothic and semicircle style, while the interior features Neo-renaissance. Today the castle is a prestigeous venue for banquets and seminars. Apart the function rooms, there is a hotel and a restaurant and taverna which invite travelers to have a rest from the city' s  hustle and enjoy the romantic surroundings of the castle.

Abgunste Manor is an 18th-century Baroque-style building, located a 25-minute drive from Jelgava. Guests are invited to enjoy stories from the manor’s hosts and participate in guided tours. Visitors can participate in various creative workshops, indulge in authentic "edible celebrations," and stay overnight in uniquely designed guest rooms. The manor is a popular venue for full-service celebrations, offering spacious event halls, a picturesque manor park, catering, decorating, and event planning services. The manor’s owners, Asnāte and Jānis Avotnieki purchased the property in 2016 and, together with the "Creative Haven" association, are dedicated to its restoration and development. JAUNMOKU PILS

The Jaunmoku palace is just 75 km from Rīga in a quiet and hilly Kurzeme landscape. The palace was built in 1901 after a design by Wilhelm Bockslaff, and it was the hunting castle of Rīga Mayor George Armitstead at first.  The greatest and most tempting treasure in the castle are the pot-bellied stoves, the most valuable and ornate one having been manufactured in honour of the 700th anniversary of the city of Rīga.  Today the castle welcomes visitors both old and young who wish to relax from everyday stresses by strolling around the castle park, visiting the forest museum, and making a personal Latvian design in the Sign Centre.  Newlyweds just adore this location, because the pergola of the park features birdsong and a fountain which are perfect for joining together two hearts and saying “I do.”  Romantic leisure will also be enjoyed by those who dine in the castle’s White Salon, take a picnic on the seashore, or spend the night in the castle’s elegant rooms.  We offer horse-drawn cart rides through the castle park and its historical linden alley. You can taste teas and rose jams.  We have rooms for seminars and celebrations, delicious meals in our restaurant, and accommodations in a three-star hotel.  This is a time where time, nature and music all flow together.
