Tourists can learn about the history of the estate and the brewing of beer, beginning with raw materials and ending with finished products. The visit is enriched by tastings of live beer and stories about Latvia’s traditional holiday beverage. Alongside the brewery is a store which sells live beer, homemade goodies and selected souvenirs.

The “Valmiermuižas alus virtuve” saloon popularises Latvian beers and uses beer in various dishes. A modern approach to homemade products is used to prepare foods and beer-based snacks. There is a beer garden during the summer, and the saloon merges traditional things with modern ones.

“Pincikājas” offers a sauna and a place for leisure in a lovely place on the banks of Lake Sudals.  A certified masseur and sauna master is on hand to organise sauna-related rituals.  You will relax in the jacuzzi that is outside the sauna, or go swimming in the lake.  Enjoy a period of leisure or take part in sports, camping or parties for your team at work.

The recreation complex "Pazust Priedēs" is a newly created recreation area in the village of Bernāti - a 7-minute walk from the beach. Two holiday homes are available for recreation - "Saulrieta" and "Saullēta" houses and a separate bathhouse. Each holiday home has a separate bedroom, an equipped kitchen and a loft floor with additional sleeping places. The recreation complex can accommodate up to 12 people in total. Picnic areas are available near each house and in the territory. The farm breeds dairy and meat goats. They make yogurt, cheeses from the goat milk. They also make ecological organic goat's milk soap. In the farm they also grow rhubarb and make syrups and juices from it. The restaurant at the 77th kilometre of the Rīga-Daugavpils highway, on the banks of the Daugava River with a lovely view of the river valley from a summer terrace. Relax among natural meadows at Antiņciems, which is part of the Ķemeri National Park.  There is space for picnicking and tenting, with canopies for seminars and private events outdoor.  A guide will accompany you for a stroll through a meadow where you can truly sense the presence of nature.

Owner Sanita Matule teaches master classes related to products from the meadows – tastings and educational activities outdoors.  Sanita will tell various stories about Antiņciems, the border between Kurzeme and Vidzeme, traditions in growing chicory, etc.  There is a permanent spiral herbal bed for various herbs.  The owner grows chicory and offers chicory coffee.

Purchase or taste products from “Sanita’s Meadow Goodies.”   Celebrate the “Chicory Festival,” the “Meet your Master” event, “Home Café Days,” seminars about medicinal plants, information about tending to biologically valuable meadows, stories about when the TV show “True Latvian Homemakers” was filmed here.  You can also watch the backing of a “Miracle Bun” and then taste it.

The “Tiny Village Latvia” campsite is in Bērzciems and 200 metres from the sea.  There are three huts which sleep four (Western, Northern and Southern).  These are equipped with everything that guests want to feel cosy and comfortable.  Each hut has a loo, a kitchen with an electric stove, a tea kettle, a refrigerator and dishes.  The huts are heated and air conditioned.  There is a hot jacuzzi outside along with a sauna and a grill.  You can order breakfast and dinner.

Fans of active leisure can rent bikes or SUP boards.  A tennis court is nearby, and the Lake Engure Nature Park that is also nearby offers a chance to encounter wild cows and horses.

“Kārkļu osta” is a family campsite on the banks of the Daugava River 4.5 km from the Koknese castle ruins.  There are 10 ha of land for private events, sports events, consolidation events, camping and master classes.  There is unhurried relaxation for family members or friends.

A large (6x12m) tent is available for events on the banks of the river.  It can accommodate between 40 and 60 people.  There are also two leisure huts with four beds in each of them.  There is space for picnics, tents and trailers, with a lean-to with a table, a grill and a place for a campfire available, as well.  There is electricity, fresh water, lavatories and a shower.

Should you wish to go fishing or rowing, we have three Amber 365 bots that you can rent with a Honda 2.5hp gas engine.  SUP boards are available, and the campsite has a football pitch, a volleyball area and a novus table.

The Jaunpils Crafts House opened on May 10, 2015, and it is home to a group of weavers from Jaunpils that was established in 1970, as well as the “Dzīpars” organisation.  The group is led by a master weaver, Velga Pavlovska, who is happy to share her knowledge with the 18 women who are part of the group.  She organises the work of women who do handicrafts, and she also conducts tours and creative workshops.  Visitors can learn about the work of weavers and other master handicraft specialists, take part in educational master classes, go on tours and purchase various souvenirs.

The Berghof Milk Estate with saunas. The weekend sauna at the estate offers a country sauna and the holiest type of traditional sauna – the black rock sauna. This is a ritual which takes several hours, with handmade switches, massages, scrubs, rinsing and herbal teas from Sieksāte. The true country ice cream at Dviete is provided by a family company which makes ice cream from locally sourced milk and barriers.  There are no E-substances, no plant oils, and less sugar than is common.

The cows which provide the milk are not kept in sheds.  They graze in the biological pastures of the Dviete wetlands.  They are known as “happy cows,” and the milk ensures a unique taste for the ice cream that is made of it.  The café offers homemade ice cream and waffles, as well as delicious coffee in a lovely and well-appointed place from which you can see the lovely and extensive Dviete wetlands.

Groups can contact the ice cream café to arrange for tastings or master classes on how ice cream is made.

Skrunda Manor is located on the bank of the River Venta, on the side of the Riga-Liepāja highway. The manor restaurant uses products grown in Latvia and produced by local farmers, offering its guests to taste original local dishes, such as carp croquettes with homemade rhubarb mayonnaise, pork belly with birch leaf syrup and celery, and a selection of ice cream made in the manor.

The house is on the banks of the Pilda River. It is a biological farm with fruits, berries, vegetables and honey prepared and served in honour of Lettigalian traditions. This water mill dates back to the 1920s and was restored in 1992. You can view the historical mechanisms and learn about the grinding process. “Kurzemnieku pirts” (Courlandian Sauna) is found in the Priekule parish and offers individual sauna rituals led by a certified sauna master.  This can be for one person, a couple, or a small group of people who enjoy a sauna.  The Latvian ritual will created positive emotions for experienced sauna users and for those who are only just preparing to learn about the sauna.

The sauna ritual is very calm, purifying the flesh and the mind, helping people to rid themselves of what is not necessary and to prepare for their next steps in life.

The “Pie Daugavas” glamping site is on land which has been passed down from generation to generation on the banks of the Daugava River and on the boundary between Jaunjelgava and Sērene.

There are eight furnished glamping tents to rest in comfort on the banks of the river.  The tents are 5m wide and 3m high, with carpeting to soothe your feet, a comfortable mattress that will ensure comfort for your back, as well as an easy chair into which you can sink with a book in hand.  Electricity and WIFI will keep you linked to the outer world.

You can reserve a Latvian-made jacuzzi with a wood-fired internal stove and installed hydro-massage and LED lighting.

A spherical cupola tent with 65 m2 is also available.  A new aspect at the tent in the summer of 2023 was a series of concerts on the banks of the Daugava.

This is a breeding farm for wild animals. On 170 hectares, the family breeds European elks, fallow deer and white elks (some 400 head in all), as well as wild boar. A tour will allow you to look at the animals up close. You can taste venison foods such as shish-kabob and goulash, and you can purchase dried venison, salami and canned sautéed meats.
