Online Webinar “Introduction to the Australian Market”

On 28 August 2025, the online webinar “Introduction to the Australian Market” took place within the framework of the BALT-FIN-CIDER project. This was the first in a series of meetings dedicated to exploring cider export opportunities to Australia.
The webinar brought together craft cider producers from Latvia, Estonia, and Finland, offering valuable insights into the structure of the Australian cider market, current trends, regulatory aspects, and potential export challenges.
The seminar was led by internationally recognized cider expert Gabe Cook from the UK, also known as The Ciderologist. And Warwick Billings, Chair of Cider Australia and founder of LOBO Cider, shared his expertise and knowledge about the Australian cider industry.

- General structure of the Australian cider market — producers, styles, volumes;
- The role and activities of Cider Australia in the industry’s development;
- Market trends, innovations, legal requirements, and marketing restrictions.
