on September 25th, 2024 — Adventure Europe, the first B2B online networking event of its kind, successfully brought together adventure tour operators, destination management companies (DMCs), and travel suppliers with buyers from around the world.
The event featured an automated agenda designed by the organizers to prioritize participants' interests, resulting in a schedule of 15 meetings per attendee. The automated scheduling system streamlined communication, making it easier for suppliers and buyers to connect. While not all meetings took place, those that did were marked by high levels of engagement and productive discussions. Although the event attracted a strong presence of European tour operators, most participants were from Asia and the Middle East.
Despite the positive interactions during confirmed meetings, the high number of absences impacted the overall effectiveness and development opportunities for participants. Organizers plan to address these challenges in future editions to enhance the event’s value for all attendees.
