Mazs vietējais uzņēmums, kas ražo dažādus gardumus no ogām, augļiem un dārzeņiem. Uzņēmumā tiek kūpinātas lielākoties tikai Latvijā audzētas zivis, ar tradicionālām metodēm, izmantojot alkšņu malku, nepievienojot e-vielas. Viens no lielākajiem Augštaitijas pilskalniem, kas 2011. g. pēc vērienīgiem rekonstrukcijas darbiem ir izzināms jaunā kvalitātē - gan no infrastruktūras, gan arī ainaviskā viedokļa, jo iepriekš biezais pamežs (tagad retināts) traucēja uztvert iespaidīgo objektu. Arī no pilskalna plakuma paveras labs skats uz diviem blakus esošajiem ezeriem. Tā virsotnē apskatāms piemiņas akmens, kas vēsta par pirmā Lietuvas valsts prezidenta Antana Smetona (Antanas Smetona) apmeklējumu 1934. g. viņa 60 gadu jubilejā. Pilskalns it ticis apdzīvots jau I tūkstošgadē pirms Kristus. Uzskata, ka 14. – 15. gs. te atradusies hronikās aprakstītā Linkmenu pils. Jaunizveidotā taka pilskalnu savieno ar vēl vienu populāru apskates objektu – Ladakalni.

The Wine Hill of Sabile has been known since the age of the Duchy of Courland as the northernmost place where grapes were grown to produce more or less sour wine for the duchy. A wine festival has been held each year during the latter half of July in Sabile since 1999. The hill offers an excellent view of the small town that is on the banks of the ancient Abava River Valley.

The Forest Trail leads through smaller paths, arching around Vangaži Lutheran Church and the Werewolf Pine. On its way to the Hunting Palace, it passes the garden created by opera singer Anna Ludiņa and then follows the Hunting trail. The first side ravines with the pronounced relief of the ancient valley of the River Gauja can be seen here. One of them is located by Inčukalns Velnala (Devil’s Cave), surrounded by small river channels of the old Gauja. From there, the Forest Trail continues through meadows and crosses the Murjāņi–Valmiera motorway, where the recreation park “Rāmkalni” is located. In this park, there is a café, shop and active leisure centre with a sledge track.

On this route you will mainly see pine forests of various ages, as well as the botanical plantation with 80 tree and 120 shrub species. By the end of the section, the landscape features sandstone outcrops – Devonian sedimentary rocks and habitats protected in Latvia.

This is another place (at A. Brodeles Street 7) which must certainly be visited by those who are interested in the cultural environment of the historical region of Selonia. The museum was established in 2000, and much of its exhibition can be found at the depot of the former narrow-gauge railroad (the depot was built in 1948, and the railroad operated between 1916 and 1972). There you can see a restored locomotive, a passenger wagon, a trolley, etc. The exhibits reflect the lives of major personalities in and around Viesīte, also looking at events and the cultural heritage. There are wood processing and textile workshops at the museum. Outside the building is a fragment from the narrow gauge railroad, along with a water pump.

The potters engage in traditional pottery from various eras, and they also study ancient forms, materials and methods which ancestors centuries ago put to use. You can tour the facility, examine the kiln, work with clay, purchase ceramics products, and inspect a collection of ancient tools and ceramics. You are invited to attend the opening of the kiln, as well.

Atpūtas vieta ģimenes īpašumā Vārvē, kurā tiek piedāvāti pirts rituāli. Tāpat ir iespēja pārnakšņot namiņā un atpūsties pie dabas un Ventas upes.

Takas sākums atrodas pie Veclaicenes pagasta pārvaldes (autosvālaukums). Tā izlokas gar Ievas, Trumulīša un Raipala ezeru dienvidu krastiem un pa ziemeļu krastu nogāzēm atgriežas atpakaļ sākumpunktā. Apļveida takas garums – ap 8 km. Atrodas Augšzemes aizsargājamo ainavu apvidū, Kornetu – Peļļu subglaciālajā vagā.
