Abgunste Manor is an 18th-century Baroque-style building, located a 25-minute drive from Jelgava. Guests are invited to enjoy stories from the manor’s hosts and participate in guided tours. Visitors can participate in various creative workshops, indulge in authentic "edible celebrations," and stay overnight in uniquely designed guest rooms. The manor is a popular venue for full-service celebrations, offering spacious event halls, a picturesque manor park, catering, decorating, and event planning services. The manor’s owners, Asnāte and Jānis Avotnieki purchased the property in 2016 and, together with the "Creative Haven" association, are dedicated to its restoration and development. The café is in the Information Centre of the Tērvete Nature Park. It offers appetizers and complex luncheons, as well as baked goods and tortes. Group visits must be booked in advance. The wooden building was erected in the late 19th century and features a museum which demonstrates the way in which people lived more than 100 years ago. Exhibits include household objects, the Rucava folk costume, socks and decorated mittens. Various events involving discussions, singing, games, dancing and weaving are organised, as are cultural and educational programmes such as “Evening Activities” and “A Rucava Banquet” with local foods from lower Kurzeme. The “Tiny Village Latvia” campsite is in Bērzciems and 200 metres from the sea. There are three huts which sleep four (Western, Northern and Southern). These are equipped with everything that guests want to feel cosy and comfortable. Each hut has a loo, a kitchen with an electric stove, a tea kettle, a refrigerator and dishes. The huts are heated and air conditioned. There is a hot jacuzzi outside along with a sauna and a grill. You can order breakfast and dinner. Fans of active leisure can rent bikes or SUP boards. A tennis court is nearby, and the Lake Engure Nature Park that is also nearby offers a chance to encounter wild cows and horses. |

This is a breeding farm for wild animals. On 170 hectares, the family breeds European elks, fallow deer and white elks (some 400 head in all), as well as wild boar. A tour will allow you to look at the animals up close. You can taste venison foods such as shish-kabob and goulash, and you can purchase dried venison, salami and canned sautéed meats. |

The Liepas farm in Dobele is a dynamically developing plant farm, specialising in fruit trees, berry bushes and roses. On offer are locally grown, high-quality and appropriate for Latvia's climate fruit tree, rose and berry bush planting materials, with a wide variety of types. Visitors will see plants in containers and an introductory garden which shows how a small fruit tree looks when it is grown up. During the spring, visitors will enjoy the blooming season, and during the summer and autumn they will be able to taste cherries, plums, apples and pears. |

It is possible to see Latvian dark-headed sheep, learn about the specifics of their breeding, lifestyle and sheepmen branch in Latvia. In addition to the sheep, it is possible to see different birds – turkeys, gees, ducks, chicken and pearl chicken. On the farm there is also situated the Star Space observatory where during the ~ two-hour-long visit you will hear simply presented stories about stars, planets and other topics.After the lecture, outside, in fresh air you will be able to put the acquired knowledge to use, by trying to spot some constellations – how to find them, how they look like, etc. After you learn about constellations, you can observe them in the observatory’s powerful telescope which is open to public use. |

The peony garden "Silezeru peonijas" is located in a scenic place in Valmiera region, Kocēni parish. Currently, about 800 different varieties grow in the garden - from very early flowering peonies, daisies, intersection peonies to shrub peonies. The first three varieties of peonies were purchased in 2015. The gardening of the peony collection began with them. The new varieties were gradually purchased first from peony collectors known in Latvia, and then from foreign kennels in England, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, Italy, Sweden and Poland. The owner organizes excursions and introduces the flower of love - peony, but you need to call in advance. |

“Pincikājas” offers a sauna and a place for leisure in a lovely place on the banks of Lake Sudals. A certified masseur and sauna master is on hand to organise sauna-related rituals.
