A straight street which runs through Ķemeri in the northwestern-southeastern direction. The street's name is a proof that it is the former historical boundary between the regions of Vidzeme and Kurzeme. Near the intersection of Robežu and Tukuma streets, you can notice the former pharmacy building-the memory of the former resort of the all-union significance. On the walls there has survived the pharmacy-related symbolism. |

Back when the Baltic Sea was part of the ancient Littorina Sea, the coastline emerged as a small and shallow shore that was formed 4,500 to 5,000 years ago. The coastline has little rocks and gravel that have preserved typical examples of fauna from the Littorina Sea. The ancient cliff is best seen at the Dobeļi homestead in Kaltene. This is one of a few parts of the shore of the Bay of Rīga where there was an abrasion coastline during the era of the Littorina Sea. The Grandboulder of Komultēni is situated in Sakstagals rural municipality in the forests; around 700
m from Jēkabpils – Rezekne road to the NE of Komultēni. The flat top and the sides are cracked. Boulder consists
of the magmatized gneiss. The circuit of the boulder is 15 m, length 5 m, width 3 m, height 1.8 m,
capacity about 20 m3.

Open landscape area within farming lands on both banks of Uzava River about 10 km before it flows into the Baltic Sea. There is a good open view over the area from the Vendzava-Ziri road going through the nature park. Protection of migratory birds and corncrakes has been one of the main reasons for establishment of the nature park. Bird watching is possible from the road Vendzava-Ziri during migration period in spring and fall. There is no tourist infrastructure in the nature park.

Each village had several areas of this type, and in the 1920s and 1930s, these were of great importance in the preservation of the Liv language. |

The Wine Hill of Sabile has been known since the age of the Duchy of Courland as the northernmost place where grapes were grown to produce more or less sour wine for the duchy. A wine festival has been held each year during the latter half of July in Sabile since 1999. The hill offers an excellent view of the small town that is on the banks of the ancient Abava River Valley. |

Another area where the manifestations water-soluble lime in the earth can be found. As the lime dissolves, there are empty areas underground which eventually collapse. To the East of Skaistkalne is a leisure area where dry and full holes of various sizes can be found.
