This is a site where you can try out ancient weapons – bows and crossbows (a reproduction of items from the 14th and 15th century), throwing an axe (replicas of German axes from the 13th century), and spears. Once you’ve learned how to handle those weapons, you can also forge a copy of a Medieval coin. You can try on copies of armoured caps and gloves and have your picture taken with a sword or battle axe. For larger groups, the enterprise will organise ancient sports and table games.

Kolga Manor with its impressive territory, several buildings and antique feel will not leave you unmoved! Kolga Manor was first heard about in 13th century but the manor we see nowadays was built style of Baroque in 17 - 18th century but in 1820's it was re-built in the style of Classicism. From the end of 17th century until 20th century it was the biggest Estonian manor. Now in these buildings is a guesthouse, a restaurant, conference centre and a museum. No Marcinkones dzelzceļa stacijas virzienā uz Čepkeļu purvu savulaik ir bijis izveidots šaursliežu dzelzceļš, kuru izmantoja kokmateriālu izvešanai. Tā vietā šobrīd ir saglabājies vecs meža ceļš, kur plānots izvietot šaursliežu dzelzceļu tematikai veltītu informācijas stendu. |

The craftspeople use natural materials to produce rattles, wind chimes and musical instruments. They teach children how to make pipes out of reeds. Aleksandrs has a collection of some 100 different instruments which he knows how to play. You can commission or purchase products from the craftspeople. |

This is a unique exhibition of woven chairs, chair-making instruments, photographs, and other objects related to chair-making traditions from the late 18th to the mid-20th century. Ceramicist Īrisa Vainovska will talk about the pottery arts, offering decorative plates, interesting wind pipes and souvenirs. |

The monument is on the banks of the Daugava River opposite Kaļķu Street in Pļaviņas. The symbolic raft is made of logs and stones, and around it are informational stands with photographs that tell the story of the heavy work that rafters on the Daugava once did in terms of overcoming the rapids of the river. |

In 1877, Baron August von Pistohlkors, celebrating the merits of his ancestors in the foundation and development of Neibāde, ordered a monument to be erected in the park. After World War I, in the early 1930s, the monument was accidentally found during the cleaning of the bed of the River Ķīšupe. The monument was renovated by the Neibāde Aid and Improvement Society and officially reopened in 1933. The monument also suffered damage after World War II. Now the monument is restored and located in the park of the open-air stage. |
