This tour combines local wine making traditions with an ancient charm of countryside with several medieval castles and baronial estates.

The tour goes to Sigulda where on the steep banks of Gauja valley sits three castles. Visit Turaida and Sigulda medieval castles and then go to Krimulda Manor to try their wines. There is also a visit to a family wine maker in Sigulda. Next day there is an excursion of historic village of Ligatne and tasting of local wines located at the sand cave typical for the area. Further on the route there is an impressive Cesis medieval castle ruins and Ungurmuiza Manor which is an only preserved sample of wooden baroque manor architecture in the Baltics. Overnight is at former Dikli Manor which is now an upmarket hotel. Next day the route goes along the coast where is museum of the biggest liar in the world - Munchausen. You can also stroll along sandy beach there. Then visit farm of local winemaker and taste his various wines and then visit Birini Manor for a dinner and have relaxing stroll into their huge park before returning to Riga.

The Atāli homestead is on Putnu Island, and a local researcher, Ārija Gruberte, has used the threshing barn to exhibit everyday objects used in the area of the ancient Dviete River valley over the course of time. She has collected these items over the course of 20 years, and they include objects dating back to the Stone Age, the Iron age and the Middle Ages. This tour will take you on a walk through the Curonian Spit from Nida to Smiltynė. The Curonian Spit National Park is located on a long, sand-dune spit that separates the Curonian Lagoon from the Baltic Sea coast. A sand beach of ~50 km is running on the western side of the dune spit, while the shore of the Curonian Lagoon is shallow and characteristic of ridged bays overgrown with reeds. The Baltic Coastal Hiking Route starts in the centre of Nida near the port. In Nida, it runs along the Curonian Lagoon promenade, offering beautiful views of the spacious waters. From Nida to Bulvikio Cape, the Baltic Coastal Hiking Route winds along small forest paths leading up and down pine-covered dunes; in the village of Preila, the trail runs along the promenade of the lagoon. Between Pervalka and Juodkrantė, the Baltic Coastal Hiking Route leads along a beautiful, sandy beach. You can take the Raganų kalnas (Hill of Witches) trail in Juodkrantė. The route alternates between the Baltic Sea coast, the dunes and the Curonian Lagoon until it finally reaches the ferry, which will take you to Klaipėda.

This nature park covers an area of the Baltic Sea coast and part of newly established sea protected area "Nida - Pērkone" with sand dunes which once used to move around but have now settled.
