This arboretum park is in a lovely place – the Blue Hills of Ogre, where there is a tower with a good view of the Daugava River Valley. The landscape is enlivened by a pond and its streams. There are beautiful hiking trails throughout the park.
Unique species: The Amur Cork Tree (Phellodendron amurense) and the Field Elm (Ulmus minor), among others.

The Eversmuiža Estate is in the centre of Cibla and is dominated by a 1680 mansion that was built in the style of Classicism and was rebuilt several times later. There is a home for servants, a gatehouse and ancillary buildings that are in poor shape. A stone wall surrounds the park of the estate. Since the 17th century and for nearly two centuries, the estate belonged to an aristocratic Polish family, after it was owned by various others. Today the mansion houses a boarding school and the Cibla Regional Research Museum, which offers tours. A cultural and historical trail runs along the banks of the Ilža River. |

Work on this arboretum began in 1958 at a local forest research station that is near the village of Vaišvidava. The arboretum collects and exhibits various local and imported plants for scholarly, educational and decorative purposes. The arboretum covers some 50 ha of land, with more than 800 types of plants. Some parts of the arboretum have rare and protected trees and bushes, and these can only be visited if you contact the arboretum in advance. |

This is a beautiful farm that is friendly to the environment and has some 300 hives of bees. There is a shop along with a tasting hall where you can enjoy honey made of various flowers, pollen (including pollen in honey), propolis (also in honey) bee bread, wax and souvenirs. Taste beekeeping products (including honey wine) and take a tour of the farm, as well. This farm uses traditional hives to extract honey, and it offers a look at hives that were used in the past. This is for birders who can’t afford to take longer breaks to enjoy birdwatching. Short but rewarding trip during spring migration. Cape Kolka is a place where pass the largest numbers of migrating birds in the spring time. More than several tenth of thousand birds cross the Cape each hour. During active period of migration it is possible to see more than 100 different species daily just at this one place. There are several birdwaching places located at different biotops – seaside meadows, sea cost and lakes and wetlands. Kemeri National Park is one of the best places for woodepecker watching. In a short period of time it is possible to see about seven species. |

On the first day visit a farm specialised in goat breeding and making exclusive cheese, a farm which grows and processes hemp in several generations, berry and fruit grower as well as traditional lamprey fishermen. Built in the 18th century and rebuilt in the mid-19th
century, the parsonage was the place where the Liv flag was first consecrated. Renovations
of the parsonage are underway at this time. Since September 2009, it has been used
by the Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church as a rest home for its Recollection Centre.

Bоrisovas St. Nikolay Old-Believers Prayer House was built in the period of 1911 – 1921 . The different feature of the Prayer House is a brick building placed on the hill. The bell of the temple was specially
ordered and brought from St. Petersburg. The bell has a very soft sound.

Swedish scanst (Kuce Hill, Jumprava Hill). Medieval fortification. The monument of national meaning
is located in the village Stari 450 m from Atspuki mill, 70 mto the Southeast from the ruins of Jumpravmuiža.
The territory is 0,7 – 1 m deep outside and 1 – 1,5 m high inside. The new road to the ruins of Jumpravmuiža
leads through the West side of the fortification.
