	The ”Jasmuiza” Memorial Museum	Between 1883 and 1891, the estate that was once owned by the Šadurskis family was rented by the father of the great poet Rainis, Krišjānis Pliekšāns. Rainis spent his youth at the estate, as reflected in the poet’s The Land of My Youth Days. Rainis translated Pushkin’s Boris Godunov while at the state. In honour of the poet and his contributions in the world of literature, an exhibition, “Rainis’ High School and University Years,” was opened at the estate in 1964. The restored cattle shed today offers a look at the work of potters in Latgale.
4 days	Flower gardens and parks	The route leads through beautiful flower gardens of Kurzeme and Žemaitija. The largest in Latvia collection of Dwarf Bearded Iris is found in Kandava. Mierkalni is the largest daylily garden in Eastern Europe, with more than 1000 varieties. The owner also produces fruit and berry wines. In the Talsi Hillocks Nature Park there is the Kurzemnieki apple growing and processing apples (dried apples, apple chips, juices). It also grows Roman snails. The Upmaļi environmental and health farm produces teas, herbs, plant oils, special balms, cosmetics, plant-based soaps, etc., under the brand name AnnA Bermans. Latvia’s oldest magnolia, 50 years old, is found at Sauleskalni arboretum. Over 100 varieties of peonia are grown in Ziedoņi peony garden. The owners of Maras Manor offer stories of historical German manors in the area. Milk Estate Berghof houses a milk museum. Exotics flower and tree cultivars are found in Māra Lindes dendrological gardens. Turaidas farm produces herbal teas and sacks thereof as souvenirs or gifts, using lemon balm, raspberry, tansy, alchemilla, Plantago major and linden. In Nīca village, 7 decorative gardens maintaining the local gardening tradition are open for visitors. Rucava arboretum displays a collection of magnolias. The largest Japanese garden in Europe (16 ha) is a home to collection of traditional aromatic plants and vegetables. Palanga Manor housing the Amber Museum and Birutė Park is one of the best-preserved manor complexes in Lithuania. Kretinga Manor Park is one of the oldest surviving 16th–18th century manor parks in Lithuania. Klaipėda University Botanical Garden has a coastal ethnographic garden with flower arrangements characteristic of this area. Klaipeda, the most popular seaside resort town in Lithuania. The Sea Museum and Dolphinarium are among the most famous attractions there. Šilutė Manor has two parks – an English landscape park with walking paths and the forest park known as Varnamiškis, or “Crows’ Forest”. Pakalnė is a unique traditional fisherman’s homestead with garden plants typical of the Lithuania Minor region.
	Daugavpils Sveto Moceklu Borisa un Gleba pareizticigo katedrale	Atrodas t.s. Baznīcu kalnā - Tautas ielā 2. Šo uzskata par vienu no krāšņākajiem Latvijas pareizticīgo dievnamiem, kura ārējo veidolu izrotā daudzo torņu kupoli. Tā celta 1905. g. kā Dinaburgas garnizona baznīca ar daudziem nozīmīgiem mākslas pieminekļiem interjerā, t.sk. 19. gs. ikonām. Dievnams ir ikdienā atvērts un apskatāms no iekšpuses.
	The “Pie Jancuka” café	The café is in the basement of the Līgatne Cultural Centre. There is a summer terrace alongside the Līgatne River. Latvian cuisine: Herring, cold soup, sausages, pork haché, hunter’s sausages, pork ribs, pancakes with cottage cheese, potato pancakes. Special foods: The “Pie Jančuka” pork chop.
	Raganu taka	Taka ved gar Vaidavas krastu, kur iespējams veldzēties dabas skaistumā, kāds vērojams tikai šeit. Starp Apes vidusskolu un kapsētu Vaidavas upes kreisajā krastā ir izveidojušies 8 - 10 m augsti, līdz pat 100 m gari smilšakmens atsegumi - Raganu klintis. To lejasdaļā upes straume izskalojusi nelielas nišas. Pie klintīm pāri upei izveidots gajēju tiltiņš uz otru krastu, no kura klintis paveras visā savā krāšņumā. Te ir teikām un nostāstiem apvīti avoti un alas. 	A viewing location at Krievkalni	At the highest point of Krievkalni (149 metres above sea level), there is a good location for relaxation which offers an impressive view toward the East.
	Sumina (Suminai)	Ļoti skaists un ainavisks etnogrāfiskais ciems Balošas (Baluošas) ezera ziemeļu krastā, netālu no diviem iepriekš minētajiem ciemiem. Te apskatāmas interesantas un skaistas koka ēkas, kas celtas no guļbaļķiem, ar niedru vai lubiņu jumtiem un izrotātas ar dažāda veida dekoratīvajiem elementiem. Pirmo reizi rakstos Šumini minēti 1784. g. Savu vārdu ciems ieguva no kādreiz dzīvojošas ģimenes uzvārda. Kā interesantākā ir jāpiemin sena klēts.

	Ungurmuiza restaurant	The restaurant is in the “old school” of Ungurmuiža. Together with the nobleman’s estate and park, this makes up a unique cultural and historical monument. Latvian cuisine: Potato pancakes with cured meet and loganberry jam, chanterelles soup, vegetable soup, porridge with meat, Brasla trout, roast pork with rhubarb sauce, manna, desserts with berry sauce.
	Dviete Wetlands	The Dviete Wetlands Nature Park contains a unique natural territory – the ancient Dviete River valley with the Lake Skuķi and the Lake Dviete and the surrounding wetland meadows. During flooding season, these wetlands store up waters from the Daugava River. They absorb a lot of floodwater at first and then slowly return it, thus reducing the level of floods in the Daugava River valley. This process is the reason for the unique ecosystem which exists in this area. It is an important location for plants and birds both during migration and nesting season. The river valley is important for birds during migration and nesting. In 2006, wild cows were released into the meadows. There is also work to improve the tourist infrastructure in the area.
	Pervalkas baka (Pervalkos svyturys)	Ja no Pervalkas (Pervalka) pa Kuršu jomas krastu ar kājām (neliela taka) dosimies Klaipēdas (ziemeļu) virzienā, pēc 10 – 15 min gājiena nonāksim līdz Arkļu ragam (Arklių ragas, citās kartēs – Žirgų ragas), kam iepretim ~ 0,2 km attālumā no krasta uz mākslīgi veidotas akmeņainas salas slejas 14 m augstā bāka. Tā celta ~ 1900. g. vietā, kur savienojas trīs kuģu ceļi no Klaipēdas, Nidas un Ventes raga (Ventės ragas). No šejienes paveras fantastisks skats un Nagļu dabas rezervāta iespaidīgajām kāpām.
	Igate castle Mill cafe	The saloon is at the edge of the Murjāņi-Limbaži road (P9) and alongside the Igate Castle. It is built on the foundations of a former windmill, and the wheel of the mill has been preserved. The old watermill is still hard at work and is used to mill grain for traditional porridge and buns. The saloon works with local farmers. Latvian cuisine: Mushroom soup, barley porridge with meat, barley buns, grit sausage with lingonberry sauce, crepes with jam, potato pancakes, fried plaice or pike, stacked rye bread. Special foods: Sautéed rabbit, stuffed filet of turkey.
	The “Kungu rija” restaurant	The restaurant is on the edge of the Turaida-Ragana road. The granary was built in 2004 in line with historical traditions. It resembles the Turaida Estate granary that was built by Baron Holstein. Latvian cuisine: Smoked catfish, leg of lamb, roast veal, venison or pork, stuffed duck or goose.
	The Ciruli farm	The farm produces homemade wine made of rhubarb, birch juice and apples. Tour the winemaking facilities and examine the process. You can taste and purchase products.
8 days	Along the shores of the Baltic states to the Curonian Spit	This tour has a very summery feel since it never wanders too far from the sea. Latvian sea resort Jurmala attracts with characteristic wooden cottages from the 19th century, Dzintari concert hall and a lively beach. Cape Kolka is located in Slitere National Park which also includes the traditional villages of the smallest ethnic group in the world, the Livs. Enjoy empty beaches and locally smoked fish. Ventspils is an immaculately maintained town with a medieval castle and well equipped beach. Pavilosta is Latvia's unofficial windsurfing capital, while Palanga in Lithuania has an excellent amber museum. Lithuania's pearl is the Curonian Spit and its lagoon which attracts with its vast sand dunes and Nida, a charming village with a Thomas Mann Museum. Back in Latvia, Liepaja is an exciting city with a historic quarter, beach, lively restaurants and clubs and a distinctive millitary heritage in the form of former naval forts and a military zone. Kuldiga is loved by artists due to its picturesque little cobbled streets with wooden houses and the Europe's widdest waterfall on the Venta river.
	Asares veselibas taka	Asares muižas romantiskā stila dendroloģiskais ainavu parks veidots 18. gs. un papildināts 19. gs. 2. pusē. Muižas parka teritoriju ieskauj laukakmeņu mūris. Bet parkā sastopamas daudz interesantas krūmu un koku sugas: Sibīrijas baltegles, Eiropas lapegles, duglāzijas, šķeltlapainie baltalkšņi, Švedlera kļavas, košumkrūmi, dažādi lakstaugi. Liepu alejā - 2 dižkoki. Tempļa kalna atjaunotajā lapenē - muižnieku tējas dzeršanas vieta ar skatu uz pili.
	The Markova trail	The Markova information trail is the most diverse and impressive trails along the upper reaches of the Daugava river in terms of objects and landscapes. The visitor will go to the top of the Markova castle hill, which offers a great view of the river valley. The deep Putāni stream valley will be crossed to get to the cliffs on the right bank of the Daugava. Here, the visitor will see one of the most unusual landscapes of Latvia’s river valleys. There is the Slutišķi village of Old Believers, along with the mighty Slutišķi cliff in the background. The trail is 1.6km long, and it will take an hour or two, particularly if the visitor chooses to tour the village and the homes of the Old Believers.
	Harilaidas pussala (Harilaid)	Sāmsalas ziemeļrietumu daļā jūrā iestiepjas iespaidīgā Tagameizas pussala (Tagamõisa poolsaar). Tās ziemeļrietumu daļā meklējama mazāka – ap 5 km garā Harilaidas pussala (Harilaid). Pussalas vidusdaļā viļņojas Lajalepas ezers (Laialepa järv) - bijušais jūras līcis, kas zemes garozai ceļoties, kļuvis par iekšēju ūdenstilpi. Arī pati Harilaida (igauniski „laid” nozīmē „saliņa”) vairāk nekā trīs gadsimtus atpakaļ bijusi sala. Harilaidu iecienījuši ne tikai migrējošie putni, bet arī roņi, kurus piesaista vientuļi līči un akmeņainās sēres. Harilaidu var apmeklēt tikai ar kājām vai ar divriteni, bet spēkrati ir jāatstāj autostāvlaukumā. No tā ~ 1 km attālumā atrodas vieta, kur pēc 17. gs. radies Harilaidas savienojums ar Sāmsalu. Šeit paveras nepierasti klaja un akmeņaina ainava. Pārējā Harilaidas daļa ir apmežota pirms ~ 40 gadiem. Kopumā būs jāveic ~ 10 km garš pārgājiens.
