Ancient Scandinavian gravesites are found near Grobiņa at the Liepu alley (as are the ancient Priediena graves). The skeleton, fire and hillock graves date back to the 4th to the 10th century. A dig in 1987 led to the discovery of a unique and richly ornamented gravestone from the 8th or 9th century which was produced in honour of a fallen Scandinavian soldiers. It is now housed at the Liepāja Museum of History and Art and is the only discovery of its kind in the south-eastern reaches of the Baltic Sea. |

Viens no takas iespaidīgākajiem objektiem ir Buses jeb Matkules pilskalns. Apskatāmi citi objekti – Baznīckalns, Bedrīšakmens, Ķauķa kalns ar avotiņu. Atrodas dabas parkā „Abavas senleja”. |

Она есть и остается «классикой» Курземе. На Абаве несколько выраженных стремнин, обычно в местах, где в ее русле и по берегам появляются небольшие обнажения доломитовых пород. The trail climbs up and down along the bluffs of lower River Pilsupe and reveals a fascinating sight of three white dune exposures (the largest is called the White Dune). The dune range has formed in the period of the Littorina Sea several thousands of years ago. The time required to walk the trail is ~0.3 h. Evidence of Stone Age settlements have been found in the vicinity. |

Канал военного порта и размещенная там база военного флота и подводная база были вырыты по приказу Российского царя еще перед Первой мировой войной. Территория подводного порта в настоящее время закрыта и используется для хозяйственных нужд. Канал военного порта просматривается со стороны улицы Пулвера и восстановленного моста Калпака.

The cave, which is 45 m deep and up to 5.5 m wide is found on the right bank of the Strīķupe river, by the Cēsis-Lenči road. The cave and its nearby sandstone cliff have suffered much damage from local visitors, which is why the administrators of the national park limited access to the surrounding territory a few years ago. You can no longer approach the cave. This is a positive example of who an important geological monument and a protected biotope can be protected. |

The Palanga Botanical Garden surrounds the Palanga Amber Museum and is one of Lithuania's most beautiful and well-kept parks. It is in the area of the St Birute Forest, and it is familiarly known as the Birute Park. The park covers 101.3 ha of land, and offers a wide variety of landscapes, carefully organised trails, flowerbeds, two ponds and small architectural elements. |

Palmse Manor is known to be considered as one of the most beautiful manors in Estonia. The manor has been mentioned first in 1510 as a property of women's monastery. In later centuries it belonged to Palenu family. Manor was built in 1697 but it was made the way we see it nowadays in 18th century. It has been renovated one more time in 1970-1980's. Around the building is a big and scenic park with several ponds. Inside the manor you can become familiar with its interior and visit the basement as well as buy Estonian wine. |

St. Michael the Archangel Parish Church of Zosna. The church
was built in 1800 by the donations of local people; it is devoted to Saint Michael. The church is built on the
stone foundation and panelled with boards. It has a small square tower that was restored in 1994.
