The Old Town of Kandava is located around the old Market Square and dates back to 1881, after a fire in the town. The urban environment in Kandava is made up of farms with various buildings, closed yards, passageways and walls made of fieldstones. These can be seen in Talsu Street and Sabiles Street. Uncommon for Latvia is Lielā Street. At the foot of the Bruņinieku Castle Hill is a model of the Castle of the Livonian Order that was created in 2010. |

Gravas labajā (rietumu pusē) paceļas ar mežu apaugušais Vikmestes pilskalns. Gar Vikmestes upi izveidota taka, kuras sākumdaļa atrodas pie Siguldas – Turaidas ceļa, bet beigu daļa – pie Raganas – Turaidas ceļa (ap 3 km). |

It is believed that at the Kezberkalnins of Limbazi has been Lemisele castle of Metsepole Liv district. It is also found in the reports that merchants travelled to this place from the sea by Svētupe and Dunezers until the 16th century. In 1223 Bishop Albert built a stone castle in Limbazi. Like Valmiera, Limbazi became the member of Hanseatic League. At the beginning of 16th century it economic role declined significantly since Svētupe and Dunezers became unusable for shipping. Between the 16th and 18th centuries, the town and its people suffered from wars, diseases and fires. As a result, the population reached its utmost fall - eight people. In the turn of 19th and 20th century and in the beginning of 20th century the economic life of the town was renewed. |

The monument is in the Bērtuļi cemetery and has a brass plaque that reads “With deep thanks to fallen heroes of the Latvian people. The 10th Rūjiena Vanagi district.” On the other side of the monument, the words “God, Fatherland, Nation” are engraved. The monument was restored in 1989. |

Located in a cultural centre at Brīvības Street 15 in Ogre, the museum was established in 1980 and has a permanent exhibition, “Ogre – a Swimming and Air Spa, Relaxation and Everyday Life, 1920-1940,” which offers a good look at the “golden age” of Ogre, when it was a popular spa. Baznīcā apskatāma altārglezna “Kristus augšāmcelšanās”. Dievnams tāpat kā daudzas citas pilsētas ēkas ir būvētas no apkaimē sastopamā izejmateriāla – dolomīta. Interesanti, ka tornis būvēts ēkas vienā malā – asimetriski. |

The "Pastnieka maja" restaurant is an old restored building in Old Liepāja. Legend has it that a postal carrier named Arvīds used to live there, and the building has been praised for its interior design. The menu offers an attractive look at the life of Arvīds, and it is up to you to believe or disbelieve those stories. Latvian cuisine: Cold soup, sorrel soup, oven-baked cod, catfish and plaice filet, grilled pork ribs, porridge with a bacon and onion sauce, potato pancakes, crepes, stacked rye bread. St. Michael the Archangel Parish Church of Zosna. The church
was built in 1800 by the donations of local people; it is devoted to Saint Michael. The church is built on the
stone foundation and panelled with boards. It has a small square tower that was restored in 1994.

Ļoļi Devil’s Footprint is situated in Mākoņkalns rural territory in a small forest lawn several meters from the
ditch, which is a borderline of the Rēzekne and Krāslava districts. It is about 1,9 m high truncated cone, the base
perimeter 1,8 m. According to the legend, the boulder had a curvy of the horseshoe prints. Now it’s shapeless. For the
first time the stone as a geological monument was established in the 1930s. It was in Andrupene rural territory.

This was at one time an important element in the protection of Soviet Latvia’s shoreline. A visually interesting and impressive territory near the seashore, it has sadly not been properly managed and is thus full of trash.

In the farm "Ozoliņi" organic tea is produced. With brand "Lauku tējas" tea has been sold in stores more than 17 years. Hostess is happy to share her knowledge through seminars and tea workshops. The farm is surrounded by forests and biologically valuable meadows where you can find up to 50 plants per square meter. |

The eastern, southern and western shores of Lake Rāzna have roads which offer many lovely and unusual views of Latvia’s second largest lake and its surrounding landscape. Particularly lovely is the road between Foļvarkova and Vilkakrogs, which is part of the Rēzekne-Ezernieki road.

At the highest point of Krievkalni (149 metres above sea level), there is a good location for relaxation which offers an impressive view toward the East.
