This is one of the most beautiful gardens in Nīca, particularly featuring hostas and maple trees.  There are more than 130 varieties of hostas, as well as 25 maple trees.  The large pond features fish that can be fed, and visitors will enjoy the beauty of the garden.  Guests will particularly enjoy the impressive homestead sign that was created after a long search.  The garden has done will in beautiful garden competitions at the level of Nīca and the level of Latvia.

The cafe Piladzitis is situated in Kuldiga next to the Venta rapid and an old brick bridge in Parventa. Piladzitis offers substantial and Latvian dishes.

Altja village in Lahemaa National Park was first recorded in writing in 1465. It is a typical seaside village with houses along one street. Traditional farmsteads of Uustalu and Toomarahva from the late 19th C are open to visitors. Renovated fishnet sheds are located on Altja Cape. The village has a swing and a tavern (Altja Kõrts) providing national food 

Around 6 km in length and an isolated route stretching between Ragaciems and Klapkalnciems where, as stories about olden days tell, robbers used to attack travelers. Around 1.5 km before Klapkalnciems (going from the side of Ragaciems), in the dune by the sea there is installed a commemorational stone dedicated to the Finnish jaeger battles. It was installed on December 09, 1997. The stone has "travelled" from the south-eastern part of Finland where in 1940 it served as an anti-tank defense. In the monument, there are engraved the words, "Here during World War I, from August 1916 to December fought the Finnish yeagers". In turn, in Klapkalnciems there is installed a commemorational stone in the place where there are buried five Finnish soldiers.

The Jakiškiu Estate was first mentioned in documents in the late 16th century.  The estate had elements of Classicism in terms of its architecture.  Among the buildings, the only ones that have survived are the mansion, an ice cellar and a steam-driven windmill.  The estate has not been restored, so it is still authentic.  Its artistic soul is preserved by various objects that remain from the time when people lived at the estate and from the Soviet era.  Alongside the estate are a few fragments of a park, which covers approximately 2 ha.  There is an ancient alley of linden trees that are on both sides of the entrance road, as well as several other valuable types of trees and a small pond.

This nature park protects the landscapes of the Latgale highlands. Of importance here are Lake Ruskulis and Lake Cīrītis with its eight islands, along with the forests of the area. An ancient castle hill is on one of the islands in Lake Cīrītis – the Upursala island. There and on the Oši island, specialists have found more than 250 species of plants.

Ķekavas novadā, Daugmales pagastā atrodas jauka atpūtas vieta - Lejas ezers. Ezeram var apiet apkārt, taka nav marķēta un iešana ir pa mazām meža taciņām. Slapjākā laikā taciņas vietām var būt mitras un dubļainas. Pastaiga aizņems aptuveni stundu. Pie ezera ir iekārtotas vairākas piknika vietas.
