1935. gadā Tūjā darbojās ķieģeļu ceplis, kas ražošanā izmantoja apkārtnē esošās Devona perioda mālu iegulas. 1936. gadā uzsāka jaunās fabrikas celtniecību. Šeit ražoja arī augstas kvalitātes ķieģeļus, ar kuriem tika apšūts arī Rīgas Pulvertornis. Tagad fabrikas vietā ir pamests grausts, kas redzams no Tūjas centra, ejot jūras virzienā.

The tower of St John’s Lutheran Church in Cēsis, which is one of the oldest stone buildings in Vidzeme, offers a view of the historical centre of Cēsis, and a wide area all the way to Zilaiskalns Hill. Labi redzams no Kornetu centra. Līdz tornim var nokļūt pa taku, kas ved pāri pļavai uz uzlokas pa stāvā Dzērves kalna nogāzi. No torņa paveras viens no skaistākajiem Vidzemes un Latvijas skatiem. Redzams Dēliņkalns, blakus esošie Dzērves un Ievas ezeri, Hānjas augstiene un Lielais Munameģis (acīgākiem vērotājiem).

This is one of the largest high-type swamps (6,192 ha) in Latvia, with very distinct landscapes of little lakes and hillocks.  The Great Ķemeri Heath is of importance as an extensive hydrological system and preserver of the local microclimate.  It is also of international importance as a site for birds, as well as a major source of sulphurous water.  Along the Kalnciems-Kūdra road, which is on the eastern edge of the swamp (3.4 km from the Rīga-Ventspils highway), there is an information stand with information about the management of the heath and about the role of swamps in nature and in the lives of people.  Great Ķemeri Heath wooden pathway trail is now restored and opened for visitors in 2013.

The Raudondvaris Castle is on the right bank of the Neveža River in Raundondvaris.  The estate and a park that covers 3.8 ha has two buildings, an orangery, a stable for horses and a cellar.  Alongside the estate in 1834 was a park that was rebuilt in the 20th century with new plants and flowerbeds that featured ancient types of roses.  The northern part of the park is forested, with maple, pine and linden trees, as well as Edelweiss that blooms in the spring.  Paths in the park lead to a local environmentally protected area.

Jau no seniem laikiem Cesvainē zinājuši alu, vīnu un brandvīnu. Pirmais krogs minēts jau pirms 1520.gada. Cesvaine var lepoties ar savulaik lielāko un svarīgāko krogu Vidzemē - Šļākas krogu. Barona Vulfa pils pagrabi vienmēr bijuši pilni ar labām vīna, liķiera un brandvīna pudelēm.

Balstoties uz senajām dzērienu baudīšanas un darīšanas tradīcijām, 2015.gadā tika dibināts uzņēmums SIA "Cesvaines Vīns", kas savu mājvietu ir atradis senajā Cesvaines Brūzī un kas no jauna pildīs barona Vulfa pagrabus ar klasiskiem dzērieniem.

This is another place (at A. Brodeles Street 7) which must certainly be visited by those who are interested in the cultural environment of the historical region of Selonia. The museum was established in 2000, and much of its exhibition can be found at the depot of the former narrow-gauge railroad (the depot was built in 1948, and the railroad operated between 1916 and 1972). There you can see a restored locomotive, a passenger wagon, a trolley, etc. The exhibits reflect the lives of major personalities in and around Viesīte, also looking at events and the cultural heritage. There are wood processing and textile workshops at the museum. Outside the building is a fragment from the narrow gauge railroad, along with a water pump.
