The Ernst Glück Bible Museum was established in 1990 as the only museum of its type in Latvia and the Baltic States. Glück (1652-1705) was a pastor and educator who was the first to translate the Bible into Latvian. The exhibition features various editions of the Bible from 1694 to the present day in 38 languages, along with books of sermons and other examples of Christian literature. |

This is a farm where there are some 10 different kinds of strawberries on many hectares of land. Anita Rescenko offers a six-day strawberry cure to improve your health. Pick and taste strawberries, purchase them fresh and clean. There are strawberry masks, dishes prepared with strawberries, clay masks and compresses against joint pains. Visitors can learn flower arranging, boat around the local lake, etc.

The loveliest views of the local cultural and historical treasures (the Āraiši lake castle, the Lutheran church, the parsonage, Medieval castle ruins – all of these cultural monuments). This territory is meant to protect the large hillocks and lakes of the Augšzeme highlands – Lake Svente, Lake Medums, Lake Ilga and others, with their islands, landscapes and species. The nature park which has been established around Lake Svente and Lake Medums is part of this territory, and there are several areas that are restricted for environmental reasons – Lake Bardinskis, Lake Skujine, and the islands of Lake Medums and Lake Svente. There is a viewing tower on Egļukalns Hill, along with downhill ski routes. |

St. Cross Honouring Roman Catholic Church of Malta (Rozentova) is national architectural
monument. The church has a promiment „St. Mary Magdalene beside the Cross of Jesus” and three big
altars. The wooden log building was constructed in 1780. It was sanctified in 1782.

“Vēveri” is located 7 km to the North of the centre of Vecpiebalga and offers a look at typical and authentic farms and craftsmen’s operations from the Piebalga landscape in the 19th century. You will wee ancient tools and household objects, as well as a recently restored windmill. |

This is a short stretch of the Daugava River valley between Lielvārde and Dzelme, with islands and shallows in the river, as well as with reeds and wet meadows alongside it. During migration season, many goose-type and plover-type birds rest and feed here. The location is also an important nesting area for several other kinds of birds.

The church is on the highest part of the banks of the Marku river, and it is behind the Piedruja border control point. A paved street leads to the church, and it is thought that it was built in the early 20th century by local farmers, who were required to bring stones for the street when they attended worship services. The church has six cupolas and is seen as one of the most beautiful ones in the Krāslava Administrative District. The building was erected between 1883 and 1885 to replace an old 17th century wooden church. It corresponds to the architectural form of the Old Russian town of Vladimir and the Byzantine style. It is said that at one time the church had as many as 1,000 members. |

This garden on the banks of the Bērze River is known as a rock fairy tale and a miraculous garden. The garden has rocks of various forms and sizes, including milling stones, distance markers and border posts related to parishes. The exhibition is supplemented by decorative plants and compositions of plants that are the responsibility of the lady of the house. |

The Raudondvaris Castle is on the right bank of the Neveža River in Raundondvaris. The estate and a park that covers 3.8 ha has two buildings, an orangery, a stable for horses and a cellar. Alongside the estate in 1834 was a park that was rebuilt in the 20th century with new plants and flowerbeds that featured ancient types of roses. The northern part of the park is forested, with maple, pine and linden trees, as well as Edelweiss that blooms in the spring. Paths in the park lead to a local environmentally protected area. |
