The farm shows traditional rural life activities, raising sheep and Estonian Blackhead sheep. A heritage trail on the farm takes in a sacred grove, ancient burial sites and fields, and we tell stories of ancient Estonians and history of the farm. This is an uncommon landscape for the Kurzeme region with a protected biotope – open inland dunes with meadows of silver grass and forests of deciduous trees, including the common hornbeam. Tourists can visit the Muiža (Lejas) sacred stream on the right bank of the Sventāja valley, above which they will find Latvia’s most noble bird-cherry trees. This restricted area is on the eastern shore of Lake Ķīšezers, and of the greatest importance here are the habitats – flood-land and other meadows, dunes, the aquatorium of Lake Ķīšezers, the shoreline, forests of oak, black alder and other trees, and many huge oak trees in the restricted area and beyond its borders. The Bulduri castle hill, which is the most distinct ancient castle hill in Rīga, is on the southern end of the Lieupsala peninsula. From Riga the route goes to the historic Estonian sea resort and then by ferry to Muhu island. On the way there is ethnographic village of Koguva, the Liiva church and the elegant Padaste Manor. Overnight at Muhu island. 28 km cycling there juniper fields, its small fishing villages, and the magnificent Juigu cliffs, which open up a view of the other small islands in the Monzunda archipelago. Then drive to Saaremaa and stay in Kuressare, the island's capital. There the rooute covers such attractions as Kaali meteorite crater, impressive Valjala church and castle mound, Piretikivi rock and Poide church. Cycle along the Tagameisa Peninsula, up to 30 km. Driving to the ferry take a loop along Viidumae National Park with its viewing tower, Kihelkonna Church, the Odaletsi streams and nature trail and the dolomite Panga cliffs.

This is one of two crossing points across the Daugava (the other is near Līvāni).  It is an exotic form of transportation to carry pedestrians, bicyclists and light automobiles across the river.  There is a motor that operates a 200-metre metal cable.  The crossing point is based on Soviet military pontoons that were used to build pontoon bridges for tanks.  The crossing point was established by its owners.  The Dunava Catholic Church is on the left bank of the river, and nearby is a monument to rafters.  During the 1820s, there were three crossing points of this type across the Daugava.

The Plunge Estate is famous because its park, which is a mixed-type park that was established during the 18th and 19th century at a holy forest that used to be a sacrificial place.  The pride and joy of the park is the Thunder oak tree, a legendary weeping linden tree and an elm tree with five trunks.  The lord of the state ordered the digging of seven ponds with cascades.  These are linked by rock bridge sluices.  The Babrungo River, which flows alongside the estate offers an outstanding landscape for the park.

This territory protects a lime outcrop found on the shores of the lower reaches of the Zaņa River. There is a path for active hikers which begins at the Zaņa mill (1864, rebuilt 1890, shut down 1960). The path weaves its way along the steep shores of the little river, heading toward its mouth.
