Cīravas muižas ūdensdzirnavas būvētas 1881. g., bet 20. gs. – pārveidotas. Šīs ir vienas no salīdzinoši retajām Latvijas ūdensdzirnavām, kas tādā apjomā saglabājušas vēsturiskos mehānismus. Apskatāmas no ārpuses.

The creativity of this farm woman is seen in the preparation of various country goodies – cheese, baked cheese sticks, etc.  The farm is biologically certified and uses its own produce.  Tastings and purchases are offered, as are tours for groups of 10 people or more.

Work on this arboretum began in 1958 at a local forest research station that is near the village of Vaišvidava.  The arboretum collects and exhibits various local and imported plants for scholarly, educational and decorative purposes.  The arboretum covers some 50 ha of land, with more than 800 types of plants.  Some parts of the arboretum have rare and protected trees and bushes, and these can only be visited if you contact the arboretum in advance.

The Zemgale region is a fertile flatland.  There are many modern farms, including some that will allow you to learn about life in the countryside and the heritage of agricultural history.  You will start your trip and then take the "Milky Way" route to a dairy farm.  Next you will visit Jelgava, the former capital of the Duchy of Courland from the 16th to the 18th century.  The history of the town can be discovered via an interactive exhibition in the steeple of the St Trinity Church in Jelgava, from which you can also get a good view of the city from a 9th-floor platform.  Next you will visit a farm where you will learn about Latvia traditions and bake bread together with the lady of the house.  From there, the route will lead to a grain farm, where you will find a collection of dairy processing equipment and a playground for children.  You can spent the night in a field of grain or a design hotel that has a traditional farm and a collection of restored old automobiles.  Along the way, you will stop in Bauska to see its City Hall and its collection of ancient measuring equipment.  Grain traditions will really be appreciated at a farm that uses its own grain and roughly ground flour to produce a wide range of traditional foods.  Finally, you will visit a collection of tools, farm equipment and household items that are all typical of Latvia's countryside.

Ancient Scandinavian gravesites are found near Grobiņa at the Liepu alley (as are the ancient Priediena graves). The skeleton, fire and hillock graves date back to the 4^th to the 10^th century. A dig in 1987 led to the discovery of a unique and richly ornamented gravestone from the 8^th or 9^th century which was produced in honour of a fallen Scandinavian soldiers. It is now housed at the Liepāja Museum of History and Art and is the only discovery of its kind in the south-eastern reaches of the Baltic Sea.

The master craftsman uses natural wood to produce furniture and interior design elements. He uses the tree from the tip to the root. Each artwork accents the form and texture of the wood, and the workshop offers an unusual look at wood and people. You can attend educational events and commission and purchase gifts and souvenirs.

Mustjala Mustard Saaremaa offers self-made mustard and chutneys, anyone can taste and choose the one that suits you best. We also organise masterclasses where you can learn how to make your favourite chutney yourself.

The farm breeds breeding cows (Galloway, Hereford, Limousine, Charolais and Latvian brown species). You can take an informational tour and watch the feeding of calves.
