  • research;
  • guidelines and other useful information for rural tourism entrepreneurs or students;
  • professional discussion forum , where we publish a wide variety of questions from rural tourism entrepreneurs about rural tourism entrepreneurship, legislative norms, changes and practices in complying with them, the activities of "Lauku ceļotājs", and also practical, economic questions answered by "Lauku ceļotājs" or other competent industry specialists.

"Lauku ceļotājas" specialists provide consultations to existing and future rural tourism entrepreneurs at the association's office in Riga, as well as go on-site consultations to rural tourism companies throughout Latvia.

  • Demand and supply - how to start rural tourism; customer demands and wishes; possible diversification of the offer.
  • Finance and advertising - financial planning; where to look for funding; how to create your own advertising material; advertising opportunities; state and EU support programs for rural tourism.
  • Insurance - landlord's legal liability and deductible reduction.

  • Consultation at the association office for up to 1 hour: 50 EUR (incl. VAT).
  • Individual on-site consultation - by arrangement.

Over the past 20 years, Lauku ceļotājs has accumulated valuable experience in both national and international projects and other tourism events.
