Eine Unterkunft auf dem Lande, in einem Dorf oder in einer Stadt für eine größere Zahl von Gästen – für feierliche Veranstaltungen. In Gästehäusern sind mindestens fünf Räume, wo man übernachten kann, sowie ein größerer Raum für gemeinsame Erholung. In der Regel werden auch zusätzliche Dienstleistungen angeboten: Verpflegung, Sportplätze und die dazu gehörige Ausrüstung, sowie andere Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten.

Ein Gästehaus am Abuls-Flusufer, 10 km von Valmiera, in einer schönen Umgebung gelegen. Den Gästen stehen ein Festsaal für 90 Personen und ein Kaminraum zur Verfügung. Im 1. Stock sind Schlafzimmer eingerichtet. In einem separaten Gebäude sind eine Küche, Schlafzimmer und ein Festraum eingerichtet. Die Landsauna hat eine Glasveranda und es gibt Schlafplätze im oberen Stockwerk.

Ein altertümliches Haus mit einem Schilfdach, ruhig gelegen, 3 km von Ēdole entfernt. Im Haus sind Vierbettzimmer mit WC und Dusche.
