Holiday house "Spilves" is located in Krustpils region, it is a unique place in Varieši parish surrounded by pine forest, where you can spend your holidays with family or friends! The holiday house has 2 rooms, well-equipped kitchen, terrace. There is a black "smoke" sauna in the area, Ayurvedic massages are offered. A place where everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the untouched nature, the smell of the forest and flowers, the songs of birds, the buzzing of bees, silence and peace, to feel the touch of the wind! Enjoy a set of well-being in a cozy and modern holiday home, or prepare a meal on the live fire in a cast iron pot, feast on the grapes grown by host Andrejs, dine outside in "Estrāde", indulge in Ayurvedic massage procedures, sip herbal tea in a black sauna, cool off in the pond.

Kūkas railway station is located 3.5 km from the house, Riga - Rēzekne highway is 3 km away and the nearest city - Jēkabpils is 20 km away.

Kaņiera ezers ir viens no putniem bagātākajiem Latvijas ezeriem, tādēļ Lapmežciemā var novērot desmitiem dažādu, tai skaitā, retu putnu. Katru atpūtas māju nosaukta un arī veidota saistībā ar kādu no apkārtnē sastopamajiem putniem.

Jau no 2021. gada aprīļa Baložu ģimenes uzņēmums piedāvā   arī naktsmītnes – 3 labiekārtotas atpūtas mājiņas Lapmežciemā, kur klusā meža ielokā, 600 metrus no jūras patīkami pavadīt laiku ar ģimeni vai draugiem. Mājiņās ir visas labierīcības un virtuvīte, iespēja iznomāt arī kublu un pirti.

Atbraucot Pie Putniem pavasarī, blakus atpūtas mājiņai būs bērzs, no kura tecēs sulas, ar ko veldzēties un attīrīties. Vasarā varēsiet lasīt mellenes, vēlāk izbraukt ar riteņiem pretim krāsainajam rudenim un slēpot vai slidot pa Kaņiera ezeru, ja Latvijā uznāks kārtīga ziema.

Kaislīgiem kalnu slēpotājiem Milzkalns ir 20 minūšu braucienā ar mašīnu. Savukārt putnu vērotājiem būs ko darīt visu cauru gadu, jo pie Kaņiera ezera ir 2 putnu vērošanas torņi.

Leisure centre is located in the dunes of the Baltic Sea seashore; one hundred meters from the sea. On purpose to preserve the dunes and sands there is placed a wooden footbridge.

Territory of the centre is functionally facilitated recreation area; particular picnic areas are isolated from overnight staying area. Solar batteries are placed on a roof of the guest house in 2013. In WC there are mixer taps, but flushing mechanism of toilet has two types of capacity. Rainwater is stored in barrels and used for watering of a garden. Organic waste is fed to domestic animals. In 2014 there has been written a project on acquisition of bicycles for needs of customers and submitted to the Rural Support Service.

In the centre there is a cafe „Siena šķūnis” (Hayshed) that does not use convenience foods in cooking of meals. They are growing greens and dishing up meals made of the fish from the Baltic Sea – cods, flukes and herrings. The cafe offers ‘sklandrauši’ (traditional dish in Latvian cuisine; sweet pie made of rye dough and filled with potato and carrot paste) and grey peas; collaborates with other catering companies, invites ladies from Rucava who present to the guests traditions of Lejaskurzeme.

For children there is a wide playground with different amusements and domestic animals – rabbits, goats and sheep.

„Kalnakriknas” is a cozy and comfortable vacation house, which is surrounded by forests and meadows. This vacation house offers recreation from everyday bustle and noise at the same time being only a 45 minutre drive away from Old Riga. This is a perfect combination of the calm and beautiful latvian countryside and the impetuous and active city of Riga. “Kalnakriknas” is an ideal place where you can hold family sports events or naturist holidays. Even though this vacation house is relatively close to Riga, you can often see various wild animals like wildhogs, deers, rabbits, foxes and others. The vacation house is equipped with air conditioning and heaters. Around the house is 3.5 ha large landscaped territory.
