Cottages

Leisure centre is located in the dunes of the Baltic Sea seashore; one hundred meters from the sea. On purpose to preserve the dunes and sands there is placed a wooden footbridge.

Territory of the centre is functionally facilitated recreation area; particular picnic areas are isolated from overnight staying area. Solar batteries are placed on a roof of the guest house in 2013. In WC there are mixer taps, but flushing mechanism of toilet has two types of capacity. Rainwater is stored in barrels and used for watering of a garden. Organic waste is fed to domestic animals. In 2014 there has been written a project on acquisition of bicycles for needs of customers and submitted to the Rural Support Service.

In the centre there is a cafe „Siena šķūnis” (Hayshed) that does not use convenience foods in cooking of meals. They are growing greens and dishing up meals made of the fish from the Baltic Sea – cods, flukes and herrings. The cafe offers ‘sklandrauši’ (traditional dish in Latvian cuisine; sweet pie made of rye dough and filled with potato and carrot paste) and grey peas; collaborates with other catering companies, invites ladies from Rucava who present to the guests traditions of Lejaskurzeme.

For children there is a wide playground with different amusements and domestic animals – rabbits, goats and sheep.

200 year-old cottage which has undergone an award-winning restoration. Incredible location in the centre of Cesis, on a pedestrian street opposite St John's church with views of its stained glass. Excellent base for walking and cycling trips around the region and Gauja National Park. A one minute walk from castle, restaurants, bars and shops. Wooden floor, double bedroom, living room, kitchenette and bathroom, all tastefully furnished. Parking in the yard.

A new holiday cottage in Plieņciems village, 300m from the sea and The White Dune. There are 4 bedrooms in the house. A double bed in the bedroom on the 1st floor and a massage bath for two persons in the bathroom next to the bedroom. A spacious living-room with TV and fireplace on the first floor. A sitting-room next to the kitchen. Heated floors in all the house. 3 double rooms and 2 Showers/WCs on the second floor. A separate sauna building next to the holiday cottage. A pond with a sandy beach. Nearby an open air bath tub for 8 pers. The house is surrounded by a large fenced and cultivated area with well tendered lawn.

This wooden cottage is located 300m from the sea. A fishermen's cottage built in 1920-30s and now renovated and arranged in an arty, cosy style. Original paintings on the walls which can be bought.
