THE BERGHOF MILK ESTATE

The Milk Estate at the Berghof Sports Complex.  Two tennis courts and a complex field for tennis, mini-football, volleyball, basketball, handball, badminton and floorball.  The fields are covered with artificial grass and are well lit when it is dark.

The Milk Museum offers a unique exhibition with all possible information about milk – where we get it, as well as how butter, cottage cheese, cheese and other products are made.  Come and try your hand at milking a cow or churning up some butter!

Karklu Osta

“Kārkļu osta” is a family campsite on the banks of the Daugava River 4.5 km from the Koknese castle ruins.  There are 10 ha of land for private events, sports events, consolidation events, camping and master classes.  There is unhurried relaxation for family members or friends.

A large (6x12m) tent is available for events on the banks of the river.  It can accommodate between 40 and 60 people.  There are also two leisure huts with four beds in each of them.  There is space for picnics, tents and trailers, with a lean-to with a table, a grill and a place for a campfire available, as well.  There is electricity, fresh water, lavatories and a shower.

Should you wish to go fishing or rowing, we have three Amber 365 bots that you can rent with a Honda 2.5hp gas engine.  SUP boards are available, and the campsite has a football pitch, a volleyball area and a novus table.

''333'' Camping Park with five well-equipped modular houses will be perfect for households that want to enjoy a sporty holiday in nature.

A well-equipped kitchen, bathroom and bedroom with everything you need to feel comfortable and cozy even in the middle of the forest. The kitchen area is equipped with a refrigerator, an electric stove, a sink and the necessary dishes. In the bedroom, depending on the configuration of the cottage, there is a double or bunk bed, while in the kitchen/living room area there is a pull-out double sofa;

There are grills near the cabins, but you have to bring your own accessories and coal.

It is possible to rent a mobile sauna and hot tub in the area. A camper parking area is also available.

Recreation complex "Sauleskalns" is located on the outskirts of Riga, in Zaķumuiža, Ropaži region. The guest house offers accommodation and saunas, as well as active leisure activities for children and adults, such as boat rental, sports fields, a laser tag, 4x4 trips and a canapolo. The complex also accommodates student excursion groups, as it has a cognitive and walking trail "Sun Trail", where you can get to know all 8 Latvian anniversaries.

Thematic culinary programs, events, master classes and tastings are organized in the "Craft House". There are also creative workshops where you can make masks, candles, bird cages, etc. things. One of them is the Bread Workshop, where it is possible to learn rye bread baking skills. Workshop visitors also receive a recipe for yeast and rye bread.
