Booking conditions

The Booking conditions below are applicable for individual travellers. For group reservations we will inform you at the time of booking. 

PAYMENTS, VOUCHER

After booking you will receive an invoice. To confirm the reservation, a deposit, equal to 20% of the invoiced amount but not higher than EUR 150.00 per adult (which one is greater) is requiredFinal payment has to be made before the start of the booked holiday by the deadline shown on the invoice.


For bookings on special festive days (like 20.-31.12.; 23.-24.06) and for some highly demanded accommodations,  100% advance payment will be requested. Lauku Celotajs will inform about these cases at the time of booking.
 
If the client fails to pay or misses the payment deadline, the booking may be cancelled without further notification.

Payment can be made by credit card payment online, by bank transfer (EUR, USD, LTL) or by cash (EUR) at €œLauku Celotajs€ office.

Upon receipt of full payment, Lauku Celotajs€ will send you a voucher containing the accomodation's name, address, telephone number and detailed description of the location of the facility, together with travelling instructions. This voucher must be given to the host upon arrival. Extra services required and their charges must be agreed with the host upon arrival.
CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES
Cancellation must be in writing and it will be effective on the date Lauku Celotajs€ receives the notification. The following cancellation rules apply:

Cancellation date Retained
More than 30 days before the start of the booked holiday 20% of the total amount
30-7 days before the start of the booked holiday 50% of the total amount
Less than 7 days before the start of the booked holiday 100% of the total amount 

For bookings on special festive days (like 20.-31.12.; 23.-24.06) and for some highly demanded accommodation have special cancellation rules, requiring a 100% cancellation fee regardless of the cancellation time. Lauku Celotajs will inform you about these cases at the time of booking.
 
When Lauku Celotajs€ returns payment for a reservation cancelled by the client according to the above rules, all banking costs are covered by the client.

Changes to a different location or for different dates are considered as a cancellation of the previous, and treated as a new booking.
 
Lauku Celotajs€ keeps the right to cancel a reservation in case of Force majeure. In such event, the client is offered another accommodation site or Lauku Celotajs€ returns the payment.
COMPLAINTS
If the services being provided by the host are unsatisfactory, this should first be discussed with the host and every effort should be made to arrive at a mutually satisfactory solution. If this fails, the client should contact Lauku Celotajs€ within 72 hours.  If the proposed solution proves to be unsatisfactory, the client should submit the complaint to Lauku Celotajs€ in writing no later than 2 weeks after the end of the vacation; otherwise, complaints will be considered as groundless.
DAMAGE REIMBURSEMENT
The client is liable for all damage caused to the accommodation facility and equipment and shall reimburse costs to the host on site, before departure. Some hosts require a safety deposit to be paid by the customer. The safety deposit is returned after the end of the customer's stay if no damages have been caused to the property. Lauku Celotajs will notify the customer about this condition and the amount of the safety deposit required before booking confirmation.
