Balt-Fin-Cider 3rd Partner Meeting in Finland

Project partners and cider makers from Latvia, Estonia and Finland met in southern Finland on March 3–4 for the third partner meeting of the project “Exports of the Baltic and Finnish Craft Ciders to Australia” (CB0700297 – BALT-FIN-CIDER).

Over two inspiring days, participants discussed project progress, upcoming activities, and the next steps for strengthening cooperation within the Baltic cider community. Among the key topics were the upcoming visit to Australia this May, where producers will continue to showcase their ciders to potential partners and industry professionals, as well as take part in industry events such as Batlow CiderFest and Pint of Origin.
Meeting and getting to know each other in person is an important part of building the Baltic Cider community. Alongside the meeting, participants had the opportunity to visit Finnish cider producers Vaski Cider and Lepola Drinks, while also getting to know the products and stories of Hallonmäen Cidery and Terissaari through presentations. The meeting provided valuable insights into cider making in Finland and created a great opportunity for producers to exchange experiences and ideas for upcoming activities.
