Die alten Traditionen der Valmiermuižas Gastfreundschaft fortführend, laden die neuen Besitzer der Brauerei ein das Landgut mit Umgebung und Brauerei kennenzulernen! Hier wird den Besuchern erklärt und gezeigt, wie die reiche Geschichte von Valmiermuiža die Bierbrauerei beeinflusst hat, und wie man von natürlichen Rohstoffen langsam „lebendiges” Bier braut. Alle können erfahren wie man am besten Bier genießt um dessen richtigen Geschmack zu spüren, und was man am besten dazu isst. Eine Besichtigung ist jeden Tag möglich, mit vorheriger Anmeldung. Der Besuch und das Kosten dauert ungefähr 1,5 h.

Das Wirtshaus "Valmiermuižas alus virtuve" popularisiert die Bierkultur in Lettland. Für die Vorbereitung von Mahlzeiten wird hier Bier als ein passender Bestandteil von Mahlzeiten verwendet. In einer für heutzutage charakteristischen lettischen Art werden von den lokalen Produkten Speisen und Bier-Vorspeisen vorbereitet. Im Sommer ist hier ein Biergarten geöffnet. Hier wird das Traditionelle mit dem Gegenwärtigen verbunden.

Lettische Küche: Geräuchertes Schweinefleisch, Filet eines Zanders aus dem See Burtnieks, Püree aus grünen Erbsen. Als Beilagen: Preiselbeeren, Quitten, Kürbisse, Birkensäfte und Steinpilzsoße.

Das besondere Gericht: Im unfiltrierten Bier des Winters gehaltene Schweinefleischscheibe.

Das Wirtshaus befindet sich am Mühlensee im Park des Schlosses von Birini und bietet eine schöne Aussicht aus seiner Sommerterrasse. Es ist in dem ehemaligen Gebäude der Mühle eingerichtet, wo die Gegenstände der alten Zeiten erhalten worden sind.

A lovely and quiet family farm 12 km from Valmiera offers Latvian sauna rituals, various spa procedures, and massages (classical, medicinal, honey-based, etc.).  Listen to relaxing music during the procedures, after which you will be offered ecologically pure herbal teas from herbs which have been collected near the farm.  There is a heated outdoor jacuzzi along with a swing-set, a playground for children, as well as a series of creative workshops in accordance with the season of the year.

The Jaunpils Crafts House opened on May 10, 2015, and it is home to a group of weavers from Jaunpils that was established in 1970, as well as the “Dzīpars” organisation.  The group is led by a master weaver, Velga Pavlovska, who is happy to share her knowledge with the 18 women who are part of the group.  She organises the work of women who do handicrafts, and she also conducts tours and creative workshops.  Visitors can learn about the work of weavers and other master handicraft specialists, take part in educational master classes, go on tours and purchase various souvenirs.

Abgunste Manor is an 18th-century Baroque-style building, located a 25-minute drive from Jelgava. Guests are invited to enjoy stories from the manor’s hosts and participate in guided tours. The vineyard of the ABAVA family winery covers 3.5 ha at this time, and is being expanded year by year.  We have a wide range of types of grapes, and we harvest them each year to produce a limited amount of wine.

The winery was set up by the family of Mārtiņš and Liene Barkāns, and it is a well-developed company which produces high-quality beverages from fruits and berries that are grown in Latvia.  The ABAVA winery was established in 2010, and it quite quickly became one of Latvia’s leading wineries.

Die Kellerei Līgatne ist ein Familienunternehmen. Die Kellerei befindet sich im Nationalpark Gauja, der für seine einzigartigen Sandsteinfreilegungen bekannt ist. Guests have access to three two-person glamping tents in a unique place in the Veclaicene Parish, which is right by the border between Latvia and Estonia.  The tents are well-equipped with a hardwood bed with a comfortable mattress, two pillows, two large blankets, bed linens, two towels, two duvets, a chest for visitors’ things, two easy chairs on a terrace, and a little table with a bench.  Each tent is hooked up to electricity, with available plugs and lights.

The territory has a common-use summer kitchen with three lavatories.  Spend some time glamping, and you’ll feel the healing power of nature, relax from your everyday rhythm, watch the country landscape, enjoy yourself and your partner or friend.  You can go for walks, rent bikes, swim in the pond, sunbathe, enjoy a jacuzzi, grill, and read books from the Muuski community library.

Die Bauernwirtschaft "Liepas” die sich in Dobele befindet ist eine dynamisch wachsende Pflanzenzucht, die sich auf Obstbäume, Beerensträucher und Rosenpflanzen spezialisiert. Im Angebot steht ein umfangreiches Angebot an selbst gezüchteten, qualitativen, den lettischen Klimabedingungen angepassten Obstbaum-, Rosen- und Beerenstrauchmaterial. Den Besuchern werden die Pflanzen in Containern sowie der Kennenlerngarten gezeigt, wo man sehen kann, wie der kleine Obstbaum erwachsen aussieht. Im Frühling kann man im Garten die Blütezeit genießen, und im Sommer und Herbst Kirschen, Pflaumen, Äpfel und Birnen kosten. Die pflanzen kann man auch kaufen.

The leisure house “Olgas Muiža” is found in a lovely place in the Valmiera Administrative District.  Guests are offered a house with all that’s necessary to enjoy countryside leisure peacefully and unhurriedly whether it is winter or summer.

Guests can enjoy the rituals of a sauna, stroll through orchards, and use a gazebo for a picnic with a view of the pond.  People who enjoy active leisure can go fishing in the ponds of the estate or go horseback riding.

Der Cidre-Keller und Apfelgarten der Mosterei „Abuls“ am Stadtrand von Smiltene, im Oberlauf des Abula-Flusses. Eine der ältesten und auch kleinsten Cidre-Mostereien in Lettland. Im Apfelgarten gibt es etwa 400 für Nord-Vidzeme typische Apfelbaumsorten und selbst ausgewählte, für Cidre geeignete Wildapfelbäume.

The name of the house is ‘Ārpus Laika’ and it means ‘Beyond Time’. The family has created a landscape park and they practice green living in a dome house designed by themselves. The family also manufactures garden furniture and hammocks. The buildings are surrounded by a beautiful park and a pond full of frogs and fishes. The surrounding landscape of the park with a pergola, a bridge, a forest and fields creates a very tranquil countryside atmosphere that can be experienced just a short drive away from the capital city. The hostess makes wines and offers tasting of different sorts. She also demonstrates cooking of traditional Latvian desserts. The place is also popular for weddings and post-wedding photo sessions.
