	Rakstu raksti / Andres el Leton pieminas maja	Kaltene is home to a memorial house that has been set up in honour of Andris Kārkliņš, who was known as the first internationally recognised flamenco guitarist of Latvian origin. Known as Andres El Leton, he was a composer, poet, writer and photographer. Visitors will learn all about the artist’s life and work via audio and video recordings. Up on the second floor of the building is a small creative workshop (SIA “Rakstu Raksti,” where people produce applied arts items such as folk costumes, linen products, accessories, souvenirs, etc. They sew apparel and home textiles from linen and other natural materials. The workshop has floristics specialists, and it accepts orders on sewn, knit and crocheted products. Master classes are also available. Visitors will enjoy local produced foodstuffs from the Roja Administrative District (fish, wine, cheese, conserves, jams, teas, etc.). Handicrafts and souvenirs are available for purchase.
	Bogshoeing	If you are looking for an unusual landscape and longing for silence, head to one of Latvia’s bogs. While in some European countries natural bogs have almost disappeared, you will be able to enjoy walks full of silence in pristine bogs in Latvia. No cars, people, bells and whistles surrounding you. It is the best antidepressant in the world and a great place to recharge. Bogshoes are like snowshoes – except you wear them in bogs when there is no snow. Bogshoes have been used to walk on wetlands throughout the times. These footwear allow us access to the places where it is hard or even impossible to reach by foot. What makes it especially great is that bogshoeing does not require any special knowledge or skills. It is simple and suitable for people of all ages who can move around by foot.
	Gästehaus "Maurini"	Der Gasthof befindet sich ca. 6 km von Sigulda entfernt. Mauriņi wurde so gebaut, dass man aus jedem Fenster eine der alten Eichen sieht. Es wird lettische Küche aus lokalen Produkten angeboten. Lettische Küche: Waldpilzsoße, Brei Grūdenis, Milchsuppe mit Kartoffelklößen, Gerstengrützsuppe, Waldpilzsuppe, Fischsuppe, Kartoffelklöße mit Speck und Sahne, Graupengrütze, gefüllte Kohlrüben, geschmortes Huhn, Wildbret, geschichtetes Roggenbrot-Dessert, Brotsuppe, Grießpudding Buberts mit Kompott, dünne Pfannkuchen, Piroggen. Das besondere Gericht: Blechkuchen von Mauriņi und mehr als 80 Marmeladensorten.
	Gatartas muiza	Vidzemes pakalnu ieskauta Smiltenes novadā, Gatartā slejas 200 gadus sena muiža – Gatartas muiža piedzīvojusi dažādus laikus, kopš 2025.gada 30.decembra tai ir jauni saimnieki, dodot iespēju ikvienam interesentam gan ekskursijās iepazīt muižas vēsturi, novērtēt senatnes mantojumu un saklausīt nākotnes vīziju. Muižas kompleksā ir kungu māja, klēts, ledus pagrabs, dārznieka namiņš, vistu namiņš un stallis. Kopējā teritorijas platība ir 9 ha, kurā ir unikāla ozolu birzs, dižozols un reljefā iegūluši dīķi. Muiža ik piektdienu laikā no plkst. 9:00 līdz 19:00 ir atvērta apskatei, citā laikā – vienojoties. Muižas kungu mājā ir 2 plašas zāles, kuras ir pieejamas dažādiem pasākumiem, šobrīd gan bez iespējas nakšņot. 	Herbsts Cidery	Herbsts is a family-owned cidery producing natural, locally crafted cider in the western region of Latvia, Kurzeme. Our Story This is a story of old orchards, wild apple trees, and a passionate pursuit of creating ciders with a unique Baltic flavour. Apples Cider is made from apples hand-picked in a 60-year-old orchard. The search for distinctive cider flavours also lead the cider makers to the wild, where forest apples with unique tastes are found. During the winter months, a slow fermentation process transforms the apple juice into a flavourful and refreshing drink. Ciders Each cider tells a story of how its distinctive, unique flavour was discovered. The experiments and dedication were rewarded at the Nordic Cider Competition (NICA) in 2023, where "Dullais Dauka" won a gold medal and "Plūsis" took silver – the first international recognition for Herbsts ciders. For Visitors Each autumn, cider harvest gatherings are organised, offering everyone a chance to enjoy active time in the orchard, taste previous years' ciders, and enjoy a meal cooked over an open fire. 	Kolekcijas darzs "ROZITES"	The “Rozītes” rose garden is found in the Sēme Parish in Kurzeme, and it covers a bit less than 3 hectares. There are more than 3,000 rose plants in the garden with 300 different varieties. There are also perennials and rare trees in the garden. Visitors will enjoy three lovely ponds which have fish in them, but they are meant more for beauty and relaxation. You can watch the fish from the terrace, walk across a flower island, and go to our amphitheatre to listen to relaxing music. On a hot summer day, visit the “water rock” to hear the bubbling sound of the surrounding water. Daila and Bruno Trubiņš will be happy to give you a tour of the garden and tell you all about the plants and how to care for them. You can purchase rose and perennial plants. Each June we organise a Rose Festival with an extensive programme for adults and children alike. Visitors are welcome to taste rose jam and drinks made of rose petals. We can host seminars, concerts, weddings and photo sessions. The garden is open from May until the end of September, and we particularly welcome visitors when the flowers are in full bloom. 	Celmini	The “Celmiņi” weekend house is found in a quiet and forested location in the Kūkas Parish of the Krustpils Administrative District. Guests can enjoy active leisure or relaxation that are provided by the surrounding environment. The venue has three types of saunas – a wet sauna, a steam or Turkish sauna, and a traditional Latvian sauna. There is a vat of water outside the sauna, and there is also relaxation in a bee healing process (a seasonal offer). There is a house with four bedrooms (up to 15 people), as well as two small huts where two people can stay. During the summer, there are another four camping huts for two persons. The venue can host parties up to 35 people, while the sauna building will accommodate up to 12 individuals. Depending on the season, there can be archery, paintball, creative workshops, soup cooked on a campfire, as well as educational activities for children.
	CELMI	A wooden cottage with a sauna, leisure facilities, a bedroom, a picnic area and a terrace alongside a pond in which you can go swimming. Skiing on Žagarkalns Hill. See accommodation Nr. 41.
	DabaLaba	DabaLaba is in one of the places in Latvia that has the very lowest population density per square kilometre. There are huge forests around our venue with lots of animals, clean rivers and lovely forest lakes. DabaLaba launched operations in 2010 by renting boats. The next season we set up an archery range and started to offer guided tours of the surrounding environment – hikes, safari trips down the forest roads of the “Ance Swamps and Forests” restricted area, interesting, merry and lovely moments outdoors, hunting with your camera, as well as special trips for schoolchildren. Boats and SUP boards can be rented in Irbe, Rinda, Stende, Engure and Lonaste (or elsewhere on the basis of a separate agreement). Since August 2018, DabaLaba has offered the restaurant #Mežā during the summer months. It is in the centre of the forest and offers pure, tasty and healthy dishes made of local ingredients and no preservatives or additives. The menu has dishes for vegetarians and vegans, as well as dishes with no gluten and no lactose. We also have a country sauna where two people can spend the night after taking their sauna.
	Live Museum “The story of Ancient Kuldiga”	The tour at the “living Museum” is like a walk through history. Here, accompanied by a guide, it is possible to learn in interactive form about events during various periods in Kuldiga – about prison sentences, about Duke Jacob's ships, trade plans, about the glory and misery of Kuldiga. With the help of holograms, sound effects and other interactive elements, there is an opportunity to travel back in time and survive the sides of the history page full of joy, fear, horror and success.
	Sparni	The farmstead "Spārni" is located on the Latvian-Lithuanian border, near the Vadakste river. In summer, there are tent and caravan sites for individual travelers and small groups. Picnic opportunity. Fireplace and grill place. Pond and garden goodies. Animal friendly. There are also birch sap, herbal tea with dandelion honey, fruit / berry kvass tastings, opportunities to participate in farm work. The hosts offer excursions arround Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
	Dzirnupes, lettischer Hof	Es wäre schwierig, nicht nur in der Region Vidzeme, sondern auch im ganzen Lettland einen anderen ebenso natürlichen Hof zu finden. Die Gäste können in einer alten Kornkammer übernachten, die ihren Duft noch erhalten hat, den Wirt bei der Arbeit in der Schmiede beobachten und selber einen Nagel schmieden, Ziege melken, auf Gänse aufpassen, sowie an Arbeiten auf dem Land teilnehmen: jäten, Heu ernten, Bogenschießen ausprobieren und die Sauna genießen.
	Brauerei VALMIERMUIZAS ALUS	Die alten Traditionen der Valmiermuižas Gastfreundschaft fortführend, laden die neuen Besitzer der Brauerei ein das Landgut mit Umgebung und Brauerei kennenzulernen! Hier wird den Besuchern erklärt und gezeigt, wie die reiche Geschichte von Valmiermuiža die Bierbrauerei beeinflusst hat, und wie man von natürlichen Rohstoffen langsam „lebendiges” Bier braut. Alle können erfahren wie man am besten Bier genießt um dessen richtigen Geschmack zu spüren, und was man am besten dazu isst. Eine Besichtigung ist jeden Tag möglich, mit vorheriger Anmeldung. Der Besuch und das Kosten dauert ungefähr 1,5 h. Das Wirtshaus "Valmiermuižas alus virtuve" popularisiert die Bierkultur in Lettland. Für die Vorbereitung von Mahlzeiten wird hier Bier als ein passender Bestandteil von Mahlzeiten verwendet. In einer für heutzutage charakteristischen lettischen Art werden von den lokalen Produkten Speisen und Bier-Vorspeisen vorbereitet. Im Sommer ist hier ein Biergarten geöffnet. Hier wird das Traditionelle mit dem Gegenwärtigen verbunden. Lettische Küche: Geräuchertes Schweinefleisch, Filet eines Zanders aus dem See Burtnieks, Püree aus grünen Erbsen. Als Beilagen: Preiselbeeren, Quitten, Kürbisse, Birkensäfte und Steinpilzsoße. Das besondere Gericht: Im unfiltrierten Bier des Winters gehaltene Schweinefleischscheibe.
	Valguma pasaules baskaju taka	The first barefoot trail created in the Baltic States in the recreation complex "Valguma pasaule", which is located on the forested shores of Lake Valguma. When walking on the path, the feet "massage" sand, wood chips, clay, peat, gravel, cones and various other materials.
	The Jaunievinas farm	The farm produces candies, marmalades, syrups and other goodies from quince. During the season, chicken eggs can be purchased. The farm has bred wild horses since 2002, and these can be viewed with the assistance of a guide.
	Blankenfeldes muizas sulu un sirupu razotne	Das Gut Blankenfelde befindet sich in Semgallen, eine gute Autostunde von Riga entfernt unmittelbar an der Grenze zu Litauen. Das Gut wird als Kulturerbe von nationaler Bedeutung geschützt. Der Name des Gutes wurde erstmals in der Zeit des Herzogtums Kurland und Semgallen erwähnt, als 1689-1701 Ernst von Medem Besitzer war. 1891 wurden die von Hahn Eigentümer. Im Gut gab es einst 16 Gebäude. Das Herrenhaus wurde im 18 Jh. erbaut. Dabei handelt es sich um ein einstöckiges, gemauertes Bauwerk mit Satteldach. im 19. Jh. wurde es im klassischen Stil umgebaut. 1925 wurde hier ein Heim für geistig Behinderte eingerichtet und nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg ein Behindertenheim. Heute ist das Gut wieder in Privatbesitz und weitgehend restauriert. Unweit des Gutes befinden sich die Gräber der Familie von Hahn, die ebenfalls neu angelegt und gepflegt sind. Auch der hübsche Park des Gutes Blankenfelde wurde auf Vordermann gebracht und mit einem zeitgemäßen Kinderspielplatz ergänzt. Im rekonstruierten Marstall und Kutschstall befindet sich im ersten Stock ein Glockenmuseum und im zweiten Stock moderne Hotelzimmer, in der ruhige Erholung in dem abgelegenen Gut garantiert ist, mit schmackhaftem Frühstück am Morgen. Auf der Ostseite des Gutes befinden sich Appartements. Für Feierlichkeiten für bis zu 60 Personen stehen auch entsprechende Räumlichkeiten bereit. Im Gutspark gibt es auch Platz für Zelte und Picknicks. Man kann die Glockensammlung besichtigen.
	Hof "Piekuni", Saunarituale und altlettische Kultur	Auf dem Hof Piekūni werden lettische Saunarituale angeboten, wo den Heilungsprozess mit den Pflanzen Volkslieder und Kräutertees ergänzen. Nach der Sauna kann man sich in Betten entspannen, die im altlettischen Stil (aus Rundhölzern) gemeistert sind. Die Besucher können zusammen mit den Wirten Wanderungen unternehmen und erfahren, wie unsere Ahnen in der Verbundenheit mit der Natur – mit Pflanzen, Steinen, mi der Energie u.a. – gelebt haben.
	Hanfanbau ADZELVIESI	Auf dem Hof Adzelvieši wird Hanf angebaut, aus dessen Samen Hanfbutter und grob gemahlene Zukost hergestellt wird. An der Kornkammer (101 Jahre alt) sind alte Werkzeuge der Hanffaserbearbeitung ausgestellt. Hier kann man leckere Produkte verkosten und kaufen, sowie eine spannende Reise in die Geschichte der Hanfzüchtung unternehmen. Der gewöhnliche Hanf ist eine alte Kulturpflanze in Lettland, die hier seit mehr als 1000 Jahren angebaut wird. Lettische Küche: Grob und fein gemahlene Zukost aus Hanf, Hanfbrötchen, zerdrückte und geröstete Hanfbröckchen, Hanföl.
	Lettgallishes Bier „Kolnaseta“	Das Motto der Wirtschaft ist: „Hier wird echtes lettgallisches Bier gebraut!“ Die Besucher können an dem Prozess des Bierbrauens teilnehmen, einer Erzählung über Traditionen zuhören und fertiges Produkt verkosten. Zum Bier bietet der Wirt ländliche Leckereien in der lettgallischen Art an.
	Lauskis Winery and Cidery	Das Weingut "LAUSKIS" wurde im Jahre 2019 gegründet und liegt in der Gemeinde Ledmane, im dortigen Gutshof Krape. Ein 300 Jahre alter Gewölbekeller des Gutshofes beherbergt das Weingut. Der Name "LAUSKIS" wurde zu Ehren des Herren Vilis Lauskis verliehen, dem Urgroßvater des Weingutbesitzers Vents Grinbaums. Vor etwa 100 Jahren hat der bekannte Obstgärtner – Vilis Lauskis Obstbäume und Beerensträuche angepflanzt. Die Früchte dieser über Generationen gepflegten Pflanzen dienen heute als wertvoller biologischer Naturstoff und verleihen dem Wein eine exquisite Qualität. Die Tour bietet Weinproben und Erfrischungen im 300 Jahre alten Gewölbekeller des Gutshofes, die von Geheimnissen und Geistergeschichten begleitet werden. Einblicke in den Weinherstellungsprozess erhalten Sie direkt durch den Eigentümer des Weinguts. Nach der Weinprobe können Sie unter riesigen betagten Eichen durch den alten Park des Gutshofs Krape spazieren und die schöne Aussicht auf den Fluss bewundern.
