Ķurmrags is one of the most distinct capes along the Vidzeme shore of the Bay of Rīga.  Around it, waves and ice have put together a large amount of fieldstones, and the steep shores are made of sandstone.  There are the ruins of an old lighthouse here, with the building collapsing toward the sea.  It was still standing around 15 years ago.

Diese Straße ist eine der einzigartigsten historischen Sehenswürdigkeiten des Dorfes Bigauņciems. Die Straße beginnt an der Küste, setzt sich als eine Straße mit demselben Namen fort, überquert den Fluss Vecslocene (hier gibt es keine Brücke, aber Fußgänger und Radfahrer können den Fluss überqueren) und schlängelt sich als ein Waldweg bis zum See Melnezers.

Tiek piedāvāta ekskursija, kuras laikā iespējams apskatīt 4 saimniecības: Zemnieku saimniecību ‘’Skabargas”, Lauku sētu ‘’Krastiņos’’, saimniecību ‘’Andulaiši’ un Lauku sētu ‘’Baltiņi’’.

Ekskursija notiek  gida pavadībā. Tiek gaidīti viesi, grupās no 10 cilvēkiem, ar iepriekšēju pieteikšanos.

Das Restaurant befindet sich am Rande der Straße Turaida – Ragana. Die Getreidedarre (2004) wurde entsprechend den alten Traditionen als ein Zeugnis dafür gebaut, dass der Baron Holstein die Getreidedarre des Landgutes von Turaida gebaut hatte.

The Baltic Sea gave this territory one of the old names of Jūrkalne – Felixberg, and people still talk about the interesting legend that is the origin of the name.  Several wrecked ships have been found in the Baltic Sea off the coast of Jūrkalne.  An exhibition in the museum visualises the underwater world as the deck of a ship that has sunk into the depths of the sea.  The exhibition focuses on the cultural and historical heritage of underwater Latvia, allowing visitors to learn all about the history of sailing ships, steamships and other objects that have been raised from the depths.  Small children will start to learn about the underwater world, and researchers with broader knowledge will find something new here.
