Das Geburtshaus des einstigen lettischen Premierministers und späteren Staatspräsidenten Karlis Ulmanis (1877–1942), in dem seit 1993 ein Museum eingerichtet ist. Karlis Ulmanis war besonders unter den Landwirten sehr beliebt, denn dank seiner erreichte Lettland ein hohes wirtschaftliches Niveau. Auf dem Hof sind das Wohnhaus, ein Wirtschaftsgebäude mit Stallungen und Scheune sowie ein Speicher erhalten. In den Gebäuden gibt es eine Gedenkausstellung für K. Ulmanis, zusätzlich eine große Sammlung landwirtschaftlicher Geräte. |

Das authentisch aussehende Wirtshaus ist in einem 105 Jahre alten Stall eingerichtet. Im Angebot des Wirtshauses sind solche Gerichte und Getränke, die früher viel gegessen wurden, z.B. Graupengrütze, Sauerampfersuppe, dickflüssige Kürbissuppe, graue Erbsen, Piroggen mit Speck und Hausbranntwein! The flats of Saules Kvartāls (Block of Sun) are found in the city centre and at a 15-minute walk from the Ventspils Olympics Centre and the skateboard park, 10 minutes from the Reņķa garden, 15 minutes from a children’s playground and other tourist destinations. The nearest store is just 100 metres away. There are three types of rooms at Saules Kvartāls – a studio flat for a family, a small room for two, and a two-room studio type flat. All of the apartments have a television set and WIFI, as well as a small kitchen where you can boil water in a kettle. There is also a stove along with kitchen equipment and utensils. All guests have a common use grill with the necessary equipment to use free of charge. There are also garden furnishings, a trampoline for the kids, and a sauna. |

Guests have access to three two-person glamping tents in a unique place in the Veclaicene Parish, which is right by the border between Latvia and Estonia. The tents are well-equipped with a hardwood bed with a comfortable mattress, two pillows, two large blankets, bed linens, two towels, two duvets, a chest for visitors’ things, two easy chairs on a terrace, and a little table with a bench. Each tent is hooked up to electricity, with available plugs and lights. The territory has a common-use summer kitchen with three lavatories. Spend some time glamping, and you’ll feel the healing power of nature, relax from your everyday rhythm, watch the country landscape, enjoy yourself and your partner or friend. You can go for walks, rent bikes, swim in the pond, sunbathe, enjoy a jacuzzi, grill, and read books from the Muuski community library. |

Kaltene is home to a memorial house that has been set up in honour of Andris Kārkliņš, who was known as the first internationally recognised flamenco guitarist of Latvian origin. Known as Andres El Leton, he was a composer, poet, writer and photographer. Visitors will learn all about the artist’s life and work via audio and video recordings. Up on the second floor of the building is a small creative workshop (SIA “Rakstu Raksti,” where people produce applied arts items such as folk costumes, linen products, accessories, souvenirs, etc. They sew apparel and home textiles from linen and other natural materials. The workshop has floristics specialists, and it accepts orders on sewn, knit and crocheted products. Master classes are also available. Visitors will enjoy local produced foodstuffs from the Roja Administrative District (fish, wine, cheese, conserves, jams, teas, etc.). Handicrafts and souvenirs are available for purchase. |

Im Ausstellungssaal haben Sie die Möglichkeit die Werke der Meister der Umgebung zu sehen, sowie den allmonatlichen, letgallischen Grünen Markt zu besuchen. Im Salon können sie ca. 70 Arbeiten der Handwerker kaufen. Sie haben auch die Möglichkeit die Volkstrachten aller lettischen Regionen, Leinen und Wollbekleidung zu bestellen. Vorher angemeldete Ausflugsgruppen haben die Möglichkeit lettgallische Speisen zu kosten. About 20 minutes by car from Sigulda, this is a venue that offers you a chance to go fishing in a pond that covers 3 ha and offers every opportunity for relaxation. You can rent a boat, and during the winter you can go ice fishing. Next to the pond is a two-story house with a kitchen and an opportunity to spend the night as long as you bring your own mattress. There are three rooms on the lower and three on the higher floor of the building. Next to the house is a lean-to, and there is a pergola not far from the pond.
