The flats of Saules Kvartāls (Block of Sun) are found in the city centre and at a 15-minute walk from the Ventspils Olympics Centre and the skateboard park, 10 minutes from the Reņķa garden, 15 minutes from a children’s playground and other tourist destinations.  The nearest store is just 100 metres away.

There are three types of rooms at Saules Kvartāls – a studio flat for a family, a small room for two, and a two-room studio type flat.  All of the apartments have a television set and WIFI, as well as a small kitchen where you can boil water in a kettle.  There is also a stove along with kitchen equipment and utensils.

All guests have a common use grill with the necessary equipment to use free of charge.  There are also garden furnishings, a trampoline for the kids, and a sauna.

Das Geburtshaus des einstigen lettischen Premierministers und späteren Staatspräsidenten Karlis Ulmanis (1877–1942), in dem seit 1993 ein Museum eingerichtet ist. Karlis Ulmanis war besonders unter den Landwirten sehr beliebt, denn dank seiner erreichte Lettland ein hohes wirtschaftliches Niveau. Auf dem Hof sind das Wohnhaus, ein Wirtschaftsgebäude mit Stallungen und Scheune sowie ein Speicher erhalten. In den Gebäuden gibt es eine Gedenkausstellung für K. Ulmanis, zusätzlich eine große Sammlung landwirtschaftlicher Geräte.

Das Restaurant befindet sich im Schloss Kalnmuiža. Des Menü beinhaltet Kräuter, Obst und Gemüse aus dem Tal Abava, Wild und Pilze aus kurländischen Wäldern, Fleisch, Flusskrebse, Forellen und Ziegenkäse aus den Bauernhöfen der Region und selbstgebackenes Brot. This biological farm (Bio 05-049-2008) grows berries such as strawberries and summer and autumn raspberries, as well as vegetables and grains.  Visitors can pick and eat berries and look at the garden.  The owners also breed cattle and have a store at which biological vegetables and fruits from the farm itself and from others can be bought.  During the hay season during the summer visitors can spend the night in bales of hay.

This is a chance to learn about the life of a beekeeper.  You’ll be given an appropriate costume to watch bees in their hive, walk down the trail of bees, and climb a tree with the help of a hoist.  You can make was candles and buy beekeeping products such as honey, pollen, etc.  A café is open during the summer, and there are spots for picnicking.

In the recreation complex it is possible to fish in the carp pond, as well as to swim and sunbathe on the landscaped beach on the loungers. There is a playground for children. It is also possible to organize banquets, seminars and other events. There is also a sauna with a fireplace hall for relaxation for up to 20 people.

There are four campsites for accommodation, located above the water on piles. All cottages are heated, with separate shower and toilet, TV and wi-fi internet. Two of them have a kitchen, and one has a fireplace. Each cottage has three or four beds. Tents and camper sites are also available, and tents can be rented on site.

DabaLaba is in one of the places in Latvia that has the very lowest population density per square kilometre.  There are huge forests around our venue with lots of animals, clean rivers and lovely forest lakes.

DabaLaba launched operations in 2010 by renting boats.  The next season we set up an archery range and started to offer guided tours of the surrounding environment – hikes, safari trips down the forest roads of the “Ance Swamps and Forests” restricted area, interesting, merry and lovely moments outdoors, hunting with your camera, as well as special trips for schoolchildren.

Boats and SUP boards can be rented in Irbe, Rinda, Stende, Engure and Lonaste (or elsewhere on the basis of a separate agreement).

Since August 2018, DabaLaba has offered the restaurant #Mežā during the summer months.  It is in the centre of the forest and offers pure, tasty and healthy dishes made of local ingredients and no preservatives or additives.  The menu has dishes for vegetarians and vegans, as well as dishes with no gluten and no lactose.

We also have a country sauna where two people can spend the night after taking their sauna.

Camping "Adamova" is located in a large and scenic area less than 3 km from the center of Krāslava, by the river Daugava. Camping "Adamova", opened in 2021, offers relaxation in one of 5 cozy cabins. Each lodge can accommodate up to six guests. They are equipped with everything you need to spend a comfortable vacation close to nature. In 2022, there are 2 glamping tents opened, a hot tub and a country sauna.

Both electricity and water connection are available, there are places for tents and campers. In the central part of the campsite, in the administration building, there is a bathroom with amenities, as well as an equipped kitchen.

Das authentisch aussehende Wirtshaus ist in einem 105 Jahre alten Stall eingerichtet. Im Angebot des Wirtshauses sind solche Gerichte und Getränke, die früher viel gegessen wurden, z.B. Graupengrütze, Sauerampfersuppe, dickflüssige Kürbissuppe, graue Erbsen, Piroggen mit Speck und Hausbranntwein!

Auf dem Hof Adzelvieši wird Hanf angebaut, aus dessen Samen Hanfbutter und grob gemahlene Zukost hergestellt wird. An der Kornkammer (101 Jahre alt) sind alte Werkzeuge der Hanffaserbearbeitung ausgestellt. Hier kann man leckere Produkte verkosten und kaufen, sowie eine spannende Reise in die Geschichte der Hanfzüchtung unternehmen. Der gewöhnliche Hanf ist eine alte Kulturpflanze in Lettland, die hier seit mehr als 1000 Jahren angebaut wird.
