Поле метеоритных кратеров Каали на Сааремаа является редчайшим природным памятником Эстонии, будучи при этом самым эффектным кратерным полем Евразии.
На кратерном поле находится Гостевой центр Каали, где расположены музей метеоритики и известняка, конференц-зал и отель. В музее можно увидеть настоящие осколки метеорита. В отеле посетителей ждут комнаты со всеми удобствами, подкрепиться можно в находящемся рядом историческом трактире Каали.

As you travel from Kandava to Sabile, you will find a parking lot on the right side of the road. From there, there are steps to a viewing area on the highest hill in the Abava Ancient River Valley – Greiļi Hill. This offers a wonderful view of the ancient river valley and the local mosaic of meadows and forests. The landscape is enriched by the Imula and Amula valleys that are on the other side of the ancient river valley.

Das Café befindet sich im historischen Viertel von Pavilosta, an der grauen Düne. Für den Bau des modernen Gebäudes sind Ziegel aus dem Kriegshafen von Liepaja verwendet worden. Breite Fenster, Sommerterrasse. Das Café arbeitet mit Heimarbeitern zusammen.

Südlich von Gardene war in der Zeit der Sowjetunion einer von der größten Militärversuchsfelder der Panzer in baltischen Kriegsgebiet. Heutzutage wird der größte Teil des Militärversuchsfeldes nicht bewirtschaftet und das Territorium bewächst langsam. Im Territorium sind einzelne Gebäudefragmente oder Ruinen u.a. für die Militärversuchsfelder charakteristischen Elemente erhalten geblieben. Von dem Weg Dobele – Annenieki, der nach Militärversuchsfeld führt, zweigt sich ein betonierter Armeeweg ab, der auch heute benutzt werden kann. Die Bebauung von Gardenes ist auch sehr interessant – die Gebäude und die Planung der Gebäude. In dieser Zeit wohnten in Gardene die Soldaten der sowjetischen Armee und ihre Familien.

This is part of a hiking trail along the Cena bog. It is on the western side of the bog, at the centre of the 5-kilometre circular trail. You can see the vast swamp, as well as a military road that was installed during World War I and is marked by an “alley” of large pine trees. Alongside the tower is a fragment of the road that was installed more recently.

Nature restricted area is established to protect various wetland habitats – Big Kirba Bog and protected plant species within it. Only the West part of the Bog is a protected nature area. The rest of the bog is used mainly for intensive extraction of peat and large cranberry cultivation. The aerial tram across the Gauja is the only vehicle of its type in the Baltic States. It was installed in 1969 with the help of engineers from Georgia. The crossing is 1060 m long, and the cable which crosses the river is just one cable without any supports. The tram rides about 40 metres above the river, and it offers an outstanding look at the local landscapes. During the evening, the tram is used by Bungee jumpers.
