Kuldiga medieval town centre - this is a unique small town, and it is the only one in the Baltic States which has remained in place since the 17th and 18th century. Because of this fact and the many bridges that are in town, Kuldīga has become known as “the Venice of Latvia.” Venta Rapid, the widest waterfall in Europe (249 m) on the Venta River.
