How the Cheese Is Made
The products are made using premium-quality milk from the farm’s own herd. The farm keeps East Friesian dairy sheep and Suffolk meat sheep. Sheep’s milk is naturally sweeter, with a fat content of around 6%, and has a mild, delicate flavour without the strong aroma often associated with some types of milk. It may also be suitable for people who are unable to tolerate cow’s milk. To ensure the flock’s safety, it is protected from predators by specially trained Pyrenean Mountain Dogs.
For Visitors
Visitors are welcome to book a tour of the farm. Guests can meet the animals and the guardian dogs, and enjoy a tasting of the farm’s cheeses and other products.
Where to Buy
The farm’s cheeses, other products and lamb can be purchased directly from the farm.
