Cross-country skiing weekend in Latvia

1st day/Friday - Riga
Arrival in Riga Airport.
Take the hired car in the Airport.
Check-in in the hotel in Riga city centre.
Free time in Riga.
Overnight in hotel “Monika centrum hotel” (****) or "Ekes Konvents" (***)
in Riga city centre.
2nd day/Saturday - Skiing in central Latvia
Breakfast at the hotel.
Drive through Pļaviņas and Odziena to Vietalva.
Hire the skiing equipment.
Cross-country skiing on the track "Mailes" (1-5 km).

Option No1
Drive through Madona to Lautere.
Cross-country skiing on the track "Lejas Jozumi" (3,5 km).
Overnight in manor guest house "Lauteres muiža".

Option No2
Drive to the direction of Madona.
Overnight in manor guest house "Mārcienas muiža".
3rd day/Sunday - Skiing in central Latvia
Breakfast at the guest house.

Drive to the skiing centre "Riekstu kalns".
Hire the skiing equipment.
Cross-country skiing or downhill skiing.

Drive back to Riga.
Overnight in hotel “Monika centrum hotel” or "Ekes Konvents" in Riga city centre.
4th day/Monday - Riga
Breakfast at the hotel.
Free time in Riga.
Drive to the Riga Airport, give back the hired car / departure.

  • Parking lot for the hired car in Riga city centre

**The hired cars are 1-3 years old, except Audi A4. In the car rental price are the following services included:
  • Unlimited kilometrage
  • Basic car insurance against damage and theft (LDW – Liability Damage Waiver, TP – Theft Protection)
  • Own risk of the tenant - 500,00 LVL
