EuroGites joins 22 organisations from 20 different countries of geografical Europe. Together, they represent about  150.000 accommodations with more than 1.500.000 bedplaces.  The services to members are based on the networking principle and mutual support.  The include a common internet presentation which links to each member site; representation of the Rural Tourism sector at the European Union and with other organisations that are related with this sector; and conceptual work on common criteria about quality, product definition, or training.  Other practical actions in the field of promotion, marketing, and sales are under preparation.

RAAR is the regional professional organisation for Rural Tourism in the Spanish region of Andalusia.  It groups about 350 providers of accommodation in rural settings, from tiny self-catering crofts up to family-run rural hotels.   Services provided to the membes include professional assistance, promotion, training, lobbying, and sales support through a Reservation Central.

RAAR is member of the Spanish federation of similar organisations in other regions, ASETUR – Asociación Española de Turismo Rural.  As well, it is member since 1993 of  EuroGites – European Federation of Farm and Village Tourism, which is actually presided by the representative of RAAR.
