Lauku Ceļotājs (Latvian Country Tourism Association) would like to invite you to take part in a trip to Slītere on June 12 of this year.  Together with your family or friends, you will enjoy an adventure-filled day at the Slītere National Park.  You can tour the area individually or with the help of a guide or local residents.  You can also choose the right type of route for yourself – you can hike, ride a car, ride a bike, or ride in a boat.

Have you ever gone on an expedition?  Have you gone fishing early in the morning together with fishermen?  Have you observed insects, birds and animals?  Have you tasted the most delicious fish soup in Kurzeme, known as “Celebration of Fish”?  You’ll feel like an experienced traveller on June 12, learning a lot about the Slītere National Park, the traditions of local residents, and their food, beverages, language and music.
