The "Jurmala" campsite is located in the park territory of the "Rīgas Līcis" sanatorium and offers facilitated tent, camper and caravan sites, as well as holiday homes for rent. The campsite is located next to the beach and is suitable for recreation with family and friends, as well as for organizing a variety of thematic and recreational events. The proximity to the "Dubulti" and "Jaundubulti" railway stations makes it easy to move around Jurmala or get to Riga. The campsite is also suitable for families with pets. |

This lovely territory includes the hillocks of Embūte, which are in the ancient Embūte valley. The aim of establishing the park was to protect the landscape, biotopes and species of the region. An ecological tourism trail has been established in the valley, as has a forest trail through the nature park (accessibly only in the company of a guide). Visitors will learn about the hillocks and ravines left behind by the Ice Age. The ravines and the forests along their sides are protected biotopes. There are also important natural and cultural monuments, including the Embūte castle hill and the ruins of a baronial estate, castle and church. Other points of interest include the death place of the Courlandian warrior Indulis, the Joda dam, meadows, a viewing tower, etc. Three unmarked bicycle trails are in the area. |

Строительство храма велось в период с 1801 – 1804 годы. В центре алтарной части церкви находится картина второй половины 19 века “Христос на кресте”. Колокол отлит в 1895 году, а орган построен в 1914 году. Перед входом в церковь возвышается памятник павшим во время Первой мировой войны и в боях за независимость Латвии (скульптор К.Зале, архитектор А. Бирзниекс), который был открыт в 1930 году. Совсем недавно завершены работы по реставрации фасада и интерьера церкви. |

Находится к югу от Екабпилса, в северо-восточной части песчано-гравийного карьера Раджу (водохранилище Раджу). Интересно, что камень найден во время разработки карьера. Камень Раджу оценивается как второй по величине валун Латвии (объем ~ 100 м3). В северной части карьера создан Екабпилсский лесопарк – популярнейшее место для прогулок, отдыха и занятий спортом горожан. В 2012 году пляжу водохранилища Раджу присвоен «Голубой флаг». |

This is a quick boat ride from Tartu down the Emajõgi River to Piirissaare Island in Lake Peipsi (Peipsi järv). Along the lower reaches of the river are major wetlands which are of enormous importance for birds.

This cliff is made of sandstone (its lower part) and limestone (the upper part). It is up to 30 m high, and it is part of the Northern Estonian set of cliffs along the shore of the Bay of Finland. This is a popular tourism destination and viewing location. Recommended Hike along the bottom of the cliff (a rocky beach) in one direction, and then along the top of the cliff to get back (~2 km). From the top of the cliff, you can see a broad segment of the shoreline territory, all the way to Tallinn.

An afforested island in the Gulf of Finland, approximately 14 km to the North of Tallinn. There is a network of small roads and trails on the island. Forests: Mostly 1.1, 1.2 and 4.2. Hike around the shore of the island, where you will find all kinds of environments – dunes, sandy areas, rocky areas and places with lots of reeds (~9 km). |

This study tour is designed to show Latvia's rye traditions as their central focus. This tour has been developed in cooperation with the Latvian Bakers’ Association. Rye is both the basis of the Latvian diet and a powerful symbol of Latvia's culture and culinary traditions. Itinerary emphasize traditional rye bread-baking and eating, as well as insights into the history of the rye grain from Latvia's earliest archaeological record to the present day. Itinerary include visits to working farms, grain mills and culturally and historically important locations. This study tour is designed for groups and may be adapted to the needs, interests and timeframe of each client. Tour cost includes meetings with experts, site visits and admissions, accommodations, specified meals, sightseeing, transportation within Latvia and guides-interpreters. |
