DabaLaba is in one of the places in Latvia that has the very lowest population density per square kilometre. There are huge forests around our venue with lots of animals, clean rivers and lovely forest lakes. DabaLaba launched operations in 2010 by renting boats. The next season we set up an archery range and started to offer guided tours of the surrounding environment – hikes, safari trips down the forest roads of the “Ance Swamps and Forests” restricted area, interesting, merry and lovely moments outdoors, hunting with your camera, as well as special trips for schoolchildren. Boats and SUP boards can be rented in Irbe, Rinda, Stende, Engure and Lonaste (or elsewhere on the basis of a separate agreement). Since August 2018, DabaLaba has offered the restaurant #Mežā during the summer months. It is in the centre of the forest and offers pure, tasty and healthy dishes made of local ingredients and no preservatives or additives. The menu has dishes for vegetarians and vegans, as well as dishes with no gluten and no lactose. We also have a country sauna where two people can spend the night after taking their sauna.

The countryside house offers a comfortable and cozy environment for relaxation close to nature. The house features a spacious bedroom with a large king-size bed and a pull-out chair, providing a comfortable stay for guests. There is both a shower and a bathtub available, as well as a large kitchen equipped with everything necessary for cooking. The bedroom has a fireplace that creates a particularly cozy atmosphere on cooler evenings. The outdoor area includes several terraces where guests can grill or set up a table for a meal in the fresh air. Approximately 100 meters away is a two-story sauna house. The ground floor includes a sauna, a small kitchenette with a sink, and a washing area with a shower and toilet. The second floor offers sleeping accommodations for six people and a TV for relaxation. Near the sauna house, there is a pond where guests can swim. |

By the beekeeping farm “Kalniņi” there is a Bee Hut – small wooden house in which you can feel the presence of bees. The hives with seven bee families are built-in the sides of the Bee Hut, but inside the building they are designed as beds or seats. When looking at the building from the outside you can see the bee runs and also bees themselves. In addition, “Kalniņi” also offer different types of bee products – honey, pollen bread, beautiful and aromatic wax candles. It is possible to taste beekeeping products and enjoy a cap of warm tea. Families with kids can participate in educational workshops, learn how to make wax candles and gain information about the daily life in the beekeeping farm. Since summer 2018 everyone can also visit the House of Crafts, where you can participate in different activities such as Encaustic painting (also known as hot wax painting), create wooden souvenirs with burnt folk signs as well as create wax candles etc. The House of Crafts offers different itineraries for grownups, kids, youngsters and newlyweds. There you can also purchase the offered products - various flower honey, pollen, pollen bread, propolis, cell honey and wax candles. |

"Aldara alus darbnīca" ir modernākais alus muzejs Baltijas valstīs un pirmais Latvijā. Alus muzejs atrodas vēsturiskajā Aldara kvartālā – Sarkandaugavā. Pēc vērienīgas rekonstrukcijas, vēsturiskās ēkas atjaunošanas un alus ekspozīcijas izveides, muzejs savas durvis vēra 2015. gada maijā. Muzejs izvietots trijos stāvos 800 kvadrātmetru platībā. Muzeja interjerā ir akcentētas vēsturiskās liecības, tā lepnums ir autentiskā alus vārītavas zāle, kas neskarta saglabāta kopš 1938. gada. Tās senie alus vārīšanas vara katli ir retums, kas saglabājušies līdz pat mūsdienām. Izmantojot jaunākās tehnoloģijas, senajos vārīšanas katlos interaktīvā veidā ir iespējams izpētīt četru galveno alus sastāvdaļu – ūdens, apiņu, iesala un rauga – burvību. Alus muzejs "Aldara alus darbnīca" labi papildina ēkas otrajā spārnā izvietoto alus darītavu, kas ikdienā brūvē pašas izsmalcinātākās Aldara alus šķirnes. Aldara alus darbnīcas viesiem ir iespēja izzināt Latvijā un citviet pasaulē brūvēto alus šķirņu dažādību un šarmu, iepazīties ar alus brūvēšanas noslēpumiem, kā arī pašiem nogaršot dažādus alus veidus. Во время пребывания в гостях можно узнать историю господской усадьбы и процесс изготовления пива, начиная с натурального сырья, и заканчивая готовым продуктом. Осмотр пивоварни дополняет дегустация живого пива и рассказы о традиционно праздничном латышском напитке. Рядом с пивоварней открыта лавка для торговли живым пивом, домашними лакомствами и памятными вещицами. Корчма «Пивная кухня Валмиермуйжи» популяризируют культуру наслаждения пива в Латвии. В приготовлении блюд используют пиво как составную часть блюда. Современно в латышской манере из домашнего урожая готовят еду и закуски к пиву. Летом работает открытое кафе. Винодельня обустроена в старинных 300-летних подвалах здания Крапской усадьбы, расположенной недалеко от Лиелварде. Прадед хозяина, Вилис Лаускис, был известным латвийским плодоводом и преподавал в Булдурской садоводческой школе. Большая часть урожая яблок собрана с посаженных им – теперь уже столетних – яблонь. |

The name of the house is ‘Ārpus Laika’ and it means ‘Beyond Time’. The family has created a landscape park and they practice green living in a dome house designed by themselves. The family also manufactures garden furniture and hammocks. The buildings are surrounded by a beautiful park and a pond full of frogs and fishes. The surrounding landscape of the park with a pergola, a bridge, a forest and fields creates a very tranquil countryside atmosphere that can be experienced just a short drive away from the capital city. The hostess makes wines and offers tasting of different sorts. She also demonstrates cooking of traditional Latvian desserts. The place is also popular for weddings and post-wedding photo sessions. |

A collection of peonies in the garden in Ķesterciems which is just 300 metres from the sea. The collection has been put together over the course of many years, with some that were first grafted in the 18th century and others that are completely new varieties. Each year the range is supplemented, with a bit more than 800 different kinds right now. Peony blossoms are at their peak attractiveness around mid-June. |

A garden of feelings, where peonies smell, birds sing and the heart rejoices! About 730 peonies of different varieties grow in the garden of "Romju pojenes", which will delight every visitor with their variety of scents, colors and shapes. It is located in Tukuma county, Irlava parish, ~1 km from the Viesata river loop nature trail. The garden is available during peonies blooming (June). |

С 21 июня 2011 года на пятьдесят первом километре шоссе Таллин – Рига открыт «МЕКЕС КРОГС». Обычно корчма обустраивается в доме на обочине дороги, в замках, ригах и мельницах - эта корчма обустроена в 104-летнем хлеву. Рядом с корчмой стоит горделивый, построенный в 1907 году из красных кирпичей дом Туйского волостного управления. Латышская кухня: Щавелевая похлебка с крупами, холодный суп, говяжья отбивная котлета, баранина и овощная похлебка, перловка с копченным мясом и грибами, селедка с творогом, хлебный суп. The recreation complex "Pazust Priedēs" is a newly created recreation area in the village of Bernāti - a 7-minute walk from the beach. Two holiday homes are available for recreation - "Saulrieta" and "Saullēta" houses and a separate bathhouse. Each holiday home has a separate bedroom, an equipped kitchen and a loft floor with additional sleeping places. The recreation complex can accommodate up to 12 people in total. Picnic areas are available near each house and in the territory. SPA services are offered with sauna sessions and a selection of essential oils, with mental health improvement options and meditative tools. An outdoor hot tub is available. Retreats are organized during the summer season, and meditative/exploratory books are available in each house. |
