On August 24, 2019, Home Cafe Day took place in Suiti, where 20 cafes were operating, of which 16 were in Alsunga municipality, 3 in Jūrkalne, and one in Baso, which opened its doors to its guests only on this day.
We have surveyed almost all participants of the Home Cafe Day and obtained both feedback and the number of visitors to each "cafe".
The hosts admit that the event was much more attended than expected. There was a lot of work, but with a good team, everything turned out great. There were also hosts who were short of hands, but in the future, if such an event were to take place, they would know what to prepare for and would attract additional helpers. Despite the heavy workload and fatigue after the event, the hosts are very happy and satisfied and would gladly participate in such an event again.
