There is a hostess dog next to the guest house (at separate garden). Sometimes he is barking – like dogs usually do. Roads are in good condition and easy to access from the guest house.

The Jaunmoku palace is just 75 km from Rīga in a quiet and hilly Kurzeme landscape. The palace was built in 1901 after a design by Wilhelm Bockslaff, and it was the hunting castle of Rīga Mayor George Armitstead at first.
