This is the largest exhibition in the Baltic States to feature the Semigalian material culture during the Iron Age.  There is a wealth of ornamentations, weapons and household objects, including the largest collection of swords in the Baltic States.  The exhibition is housed in the rebuilt defensive rooms of the wooden castle of Tērvete which existed here in the 12th century.  During the second weekend of each August, there is an international Semigalian festival which is the largest Medieval festival in the Baltic States.

Name of Litene is associated with one of the most tragic pages of Latvian history. In twenties and thirties of the 20th century a Latvian Army summer camp was located nearby, where in the summer of 1941 Latvian officers faced the communist terror: Nearly five hundred officers of Latvian army were sent to Norilsk in Siberia, part of them was shot and secretly buried in the nearby forest. At the end of the summer of 1941 about 300 civilians, mostly Jews, were shot there by the army of Nazi Germany. Today, honouring the memory of people killed, memorial and memorial sites are created.

The domestic producer cooperative, which unites 29 producers and craftsmen of the Kuldīga region. The cooperative has its own shop in Pilsetas laukums 7A, Kuldiga, where it is possible to purchase all the products and goods produced by members of the cooperative. The store also offers seasonal delicacies and regular promotions, offering customers a wide and varied range of home-grown and home-made products.

This park surrounds the mansion of the Biržuvenai Estate, and it is based on the terrain of the Virvite River and an old river that provides water for the park.  The central part of the park is regularly designed, while the rest has elements of landscape.  Opposite the estate is a glass sculpture, and on its western side is a wooden pergola.  Local trees dominate in the park, but there are also trees from other countries.  Of importance is a group of oak trees on the banks of the river, as is an alley of linden trees that leads to the pond in the direction of the estate.

This is the farm of a moderately wealthy Selonian farmer from the 19^th century. It features a residential building with a mantel chimney, two granaries, a threshing barn, a sauna, a windmill, a smithy, a steam locomotive and a threshing machine. Groups will enjoy thematic programmes such as “Crafts at the Selonian Farm,” “When Honey Melts on Your Tongue,” and “A Wedding at the Selonian Farm.”

This is one of the most ornate and beautiful tree farms in Latvia, with some 1,000 types and forms of plants.  The owner will take you on a tour, and you can purchase coniferous trees, decorative bushes, plants for fencing, ivies, and outstanding grafted trees and bushes in containers (1-200 litres).  A colourful arboretum is also on offer, along with garden consultations. This can be used as a venue for events and photo sessions.
