A family-owned company that makes culinary and confectionery products in Jaunannas Parish, Alūksne Municipality. Delicious meat roulettes and rolls, prepared using Grandmother's recipes, and other meat products in a wide assortment, as well as special "Gustiņa" confectionery products can be purchased in Alūksne - taste store "Gustiņš". In the café “Gustiņš” you can enjoy a delicious and rich homemade meal, and taste the special dishes characteristic to the locals of Alūksne – malēnieši (booking in advance).

The owner of the guesthouse produces homemade wine from blackberries, black currants, lingonberries, oak leaves, birch sap, strawberries, gooseberries, apples, cranberries, cowslip, and 20 other raw materials. You can taste the wines, learn about how it is produced, and purchase some to take along with you.

One of the leading Latvian sauna experts, Ziedonis Kārkliņš, uses the energetic properties from various plants. More than 12 different plants are combined at once. Natural cosmetics and materials (mud, amber, stones etc.) used during rituals. He also uses ancient Baltic energy signs.

This park surrounds the mansion of the Biržuvenai Estate, and it is based on the terrain of the Virvite River and an old river that provides water for the park.  The central part of the park is regularly designed, while the rest has elements of landscape.  Opposite the estate is a glass sculpture, and on its western side is a wooden pergola.  Local trees dominate in the park, but there are also trees from other countries.  Of importance is a group of oak trees on the banks of the river, as is an alley of linden trees that leads to the pond in the direction of the estate.

The nature park near the town of Ogre is a popular place for leisure, hiking and, in the winter, cross-country skiing. Most of the park is covered with coniferous trees that are on a long and comparatively narrow line of hillocks with steep sides – another element of nature left behind in Latvia by the Ice Age. Many different plants can be found here. The Jaunogres castle hill is one of the most distinct hillocks in the area.

This farm offers tours for children who can become friends of horses, look at Angus cattle and learn about a dairy farm.  The children are transported in a specially adapted cart that is pulled by a tractor.  The farm plans to purchase some alpacas in 2018.

The owner of the farm grows petunias, geraniums, balsams, asters, snapdragons and other plants, also designing beautiful pots of flowers. She organises seminars on biological farming. Visitors can purchase plants, pick black currants from a bush, and pick tomatoes from a vegetable bed. Tastings are available, and there are rabbits on display, as well.

The tour will guide you through the Latvia using its main tastes. Out of Riga you visit a farm which specialises in grain growing and bakes great cracknels and makes regional dishes using whole-meal grains. Afterwards there is a visit to Bauska Castle locates between two rivers and Bauska Brewery which takes pride in their produce free of preservatives. Then there is a visit to ethnographic museum at Ausekli Mill where you could try to make your own traditional piragi (bacon pasties). Further on the route cross the river Daugava and there is a stop at home -made ice-cream cafe to try savoury ice- cream salads.

A ride on Viking ship around the legendary Koknese castle ruins and a visit to Cesvaine Castle is next. Then you have a visit to the goats farm and cheese tasting which is followed by cows cheese tasting at nearby production. Overnight is at Vecgulbene Manor with spa facilities. Next day you have a chance to make your own traditional black bread accompanied with humorous stories and instructions by the baker-lady. While the bread is baking there is another cheese tasting and visit to producer at Trikata. Then visit to Valmiermuiža Brewery which produces upmarket beer and promotes Latvian beer drinking tradition as a component in every celebration. Charming provincial town of Cesis with mighty medieval castle ruins, narrow ancient streets and home of famous Cesis brewery next. Historic brewery building there is nowadays only a tourism object but production is moved into big, modern building. It is the second largest beer producer in Latvia nowadays. Visit to the Cesis Brewery followed by excursion at Araisi windmill and having a traditional mill's porridge there. Then excursion at the Turaida Castle before returning to Riga.
