From Riga the route goes to the goats farm where to enjoy funny and cute animals and try exclusive cheeses. Then visit Mālpils Manor and taste the selection of local cheeses made from cows' milk. Afterwards the route turns towards Daugava river to Skriveri for some gorgeous home made ice-cream and traditional hand-made toffees "Gotiņa". Further on head to the legendary Koknese castle ruins. Next day the route goes to the ethnographic working farmstead located in picturesque spot of Jaunpiebalga and family cheese and macaroni production in Rauna. Nearby there are clay production established within the former brick factory where the hand-made ceramics creation can be observed. Then sightseeing in Cesis with its old town and medieval Livonian Order Castle. Further on the route goes to hemp growing farm where to taste them prepared traditional way. Then you have an excursion and tasting at the Rujiena ice-cream factory. Stay at the former mill where ancient wool processing equipment are still used and can be seen. Heading back to Riga the route follows the coast line. Visit the museum of the biggest liar in the world - Munchausen, where you are entertained with his fantastic adventure stories, visit the lamprey fishermen and have a stroll on sandy beach. |

The Bebrene Estate features an ensemble of Baroque buildings from the late 19th and early 20th century. The dominant building is the mansion of Count Plater-Sieberg, which was built in 1896 after a design by the architect L.J.L. Marconi. It is home to the Bebrene High School today. Surviving to the present day are the ornate gate and the unusual stone fence of the estate. The regular-design park which surrounds the mansion features a wealth of foreign trees. |

In the studio it is possible to buy or order different craftsmanship items, as well as to learn about craftsmanship process. The studio specializes in creating folk costumes, weaving and all sorts of handicrafts, creating jewellery, patchwork, sewing and silk painting. This route passes along one of the most diverse and beautiful parts of the coastline of the Bay of Rīga. You will see the Randu meadows, which are known as Latvia’s open-air “herbarium” because of the diversity of plants that can be found there. The coast features various sizes of rocks and stones, as well as no shortage of lovely and sandy beaches. This is the only place in Latvia where Devonian sandstone cliffs can be seen. Past each horn there is a different landscape, and the last 20 kilometres of the route are paradise for bird watchers during migration season. The route is in the Northern Vidzeme Biosphere Reserve. Periodically flooded flood-land meadows on the eastern and southern shores of Lake Burtnieks are an important nesting location for the rarely seen corncrake. A nature and information trail has been established at Vīsrags with directions, information stands and a viewing tower.

Here the visitor will find an ecological tourism trail in the ancient Embūte valley. The hills around Embūte date back to the Ice Age. There are valleys and forests of many fallen trees which are protected habitats. The visitor will learn about important natural and cultural monuments – the Embūte castle hill, as well as the ruins of a baronial estate, a castle and a church. The Courlandian chieftain Indulis died in the region. The visitor can view the Devil’s Dam, along with meadows, a viewing tower, etc. There are bicycler routes in the region. The site is located in the Embūte nature park. |

Skaidrīte Bauze is one of Latvia's most famous mitten knitters, with more than 185 pairs of mittens in her collection to demonstrate the wide range of Latvian ornaments and colours. Visitors can look at the collection, listen to information about it, and look at a garden with many different plants and wooden sculptures that are the work of the owner of the farm, Haralds Bauze. |

The farm produces homemade wines made from natural raw materials that are grown locally or bought from nearby farmers – apples, rhubarb and black currants. Black currant spirits are also available. During a tour, you will learn about how the beverages are prepared, taste them, and purchase some for yourself at the farm’s little shop. |
