Bog, lake, seaside and forest walks
Driving towards Ķemeri we will pass through the popular Latvian sea resort Jūrmala with its characteristic 19th century wooden villas. However, Ķemeri is the place where the resort's history really starts. There we'll try curative sulphur water from the spring, then visit the Forest House and walk the Black Alder trail through a wet-forest environment. Next comes the boardwalk of Big Ķemeri Heath with its suggestive landscape, rare birds, animals and plants. Then the tour heads to Valgums Lake for lunch and a walk around Lake Kaņieris with its castle hill trail and birdwatching tower. The day finishes with a relaxing walk along the beach, visiting the old fishermen's huts and tasting locally smoked fish.

This is a weekend home in Aglona, quite near the Aglona Basilica.  The wooden house has cosy rooms for overnight, on second floor terrace with view to Aglona. "Godu māja" ("House of Honor") is a large log building with a historic twist built in 1928, transferred from the depths of the region of Latgale. Located away from other buildings, for guests available a wide area. Here you can enjoy the isolation in the old walls of the house at the river valley.In the building in its original location was not even electricity. For your well-being - sleeping on the 2nd floor, modern house (WC, shower, kitchenette) with breakfast area, a pond, a wood-fired sauna in the gazebo.
