Der Hof befindet sich auf der Insel Rusnė im Nemunasdelta am Ufer des Mündungsarms Pakalnė. Die Wirtsleute sammeln Kräuter und verarbeiten die nach volkstümlichen Rezepten zu Teemischungen, Aufgüssen und anderen Getränken, die den Gästen angeboten werden, die heilende oder stimmungsaufhellende Wirkung haben und den Tonus heben.

Das Gartenbauinstitut ist das führende Forschungszentrum für Obstbau und Gemüsebau in Lettland. Es befasst sich nicht nur mit der Auswahl und Einführung von Pflanzenarten, die für die landwirtschaftlich-klimatischen Bedingungen der baltischen Staaten geeignet sind, sondern stellt auch nahrhafte, ballaststoffreiche Lebensmittel aus den Gärten des Instituts her. Während der Frühlingsblüte haben die Gäste von Dobele die Möglichkeit, durch einen der größten Fliedergärten Europas zu spazieren, wo 240 verschiedene Fliederarten blühen. Im Mai/Juni können die Gartengäste des Gartenbauinstituts die Aprikosenbaum-, Kirschbaum-, Pflaumenbaum-, Apfelbaum-, Birnbaum- und Quittenbaumblumen genießen.

Die Galerie Voronja ist eine Kunstgalerie, in der ein qualitatives internationales Kunstprogramm angeboten wird und durch die jeden Sommer der Zwiebelweg verläuft. In der Galerie gibt es ein täglich geöffnetes kleines Gartencafé. Dessen Speisekarte ist von den örtlichen Produkten inspiriert wurde und durch zusätzliche Geschmackrichtungen ergänzt, die von Wind in der Stadt gebracht wurden. Den Gästen werden auch die Zwiebelmarmelade Voronja, Schokoladensoße und andere saisonale Beilagen angeboten.

The owner of the guesthouse produces homemade wine from blackberries, black currants, lingonberries, oak leaves, birch sap, strawberries, gooseberries, apples, cranberries, cowslip, and 20 other raw materials. You can taste the wines, learn about how it is produced, and purchase some to take along with you.

 From Riga the tour goes along the right bank of the river Daugava and crosses it over at Plavinas HES to Salaspils. Visit National Botanic Garden then continue along the left bank of Daugava. On the route there is a model of ancient wooden castle where you can walk about. . Then visit the Kingdom of Rabbits where their homes are made like a little castles too. Time to taste some wonderful home-made ice-cream at Skriveri and visit legendary Koknese castle ruins park. Next day visit ethnographic working farmstead where you can see wild horses and cows as well as various waterbirds in the pond. Then the route goes to private mini zoo "Ezerlejas" with some exotic animals, visit ceramics factory where you can see how the hand-made clay products are made from the beginning to the end, walk around Rauna medieval castles ruins. Cesis town with mighty medieval castle and pretty old town is the next on the route. At Ligatne walk nature trails where you can see local wild animals. At Sigulda kids would love to visit "Tarzans" adventure centre. There is also Olympic bobsled centre and two medieval castles located. From Sigulda the route goes towards the coast with a stop at elegant Birini Manor with large park where you can try horse ridding. Then you are at the sandy beach of Saulkrasti. Before returning to Riga you can visit a farm with goats and ponies to taste goats products and cuddle animals.  

Kaunas Castle is the oldest stone castle in Lithuania and interestingly enough, the museum that is inside is also the oldest one in Lithuania. It's possible to take a tour to get know more about Kaunas Castle and also visit the museum where there's not only information about the castle but also about the city of Kaunas itself and much more.

Kaltene features several homes where shipbuilders used to live – Caurnāši, which was home to the Bertliņi family, Ilmati, where six ailing ships were built, Maizītes, where the Stahl family of ship builders built 16 two-mast and three-mast ships, and Dambekalni, which was once one of the first canned fish factories on the coastline.  To the side of the sea are the old boat piers of Kaltene.  In 1936, a board pier was built by the Freijs family from Roja.  It was 200 m long and had room for some 50 boats.  All that is left are wooden poles that have been eaten away by the sea and time.  If you want to learn about the specifics, difficulties and challenges of fishermen today, visit Ervīns Vilciņš in Ķirķrags.  He will tell interesting stories on the basis of his experience.  You can watch as he fishes in the morning and then taste the fish that he has caught. (Source: Roja TIC)

A comparatively large swamp to the North of the Zaļā dune, this is an important place for sulphurous waters, just as is the case with Zaļais swamp.  The swamp is cut in two by the 3.5 km Ķemeri-Antiņciems road, from which interesting landscapes can be seen.  The road is not appropriate for cars, however.  To the East of Raganu swamp is Lake Putnezers, which is difficult to access.  There is a small car park with an information stand on the shore of Lake Melnezers alongside the Ķemeri-Jaunķemeri road.  The historical and overgrown Old Ķemeri road can be used to get to the seashore from this location.
