We offer a private collection of ancient tools, household items and technologies which we began to assemble in 2002.  Right now we have more than 5,000 objects of cultural and historical objects on display, as well as a lovely garden with countless compositions of colourful flowers, fountains, an Eastern meditation bridge, ponds, a pergola, leafy areas, etc.  The garden covers more than 2 ha, and it is located 1 km from Lazdukalns.

The Kretinga Estate park is one of the oldest ones in Lithuania to have survived to the present days.  Established in the 16th and 17th century, it is a mixed-style park that covers 23 ha of land.  The southern part of the park has an astronomical calendar with a sundial, a hedge, allies, and flowerbeds and rock gardens with dahlias, peonies, tulips and roses.  There are trails for strollers and areas for relaxation.  Particularly popular among local residents is the restored fountain in the park.

Bezlaktozes mājas siers ar samazinātu sāls daudzumu no bezlaktozes govs piena. 2021. gadā kā pirmie Latvijā sāka ražot bezlaktozes mājas sierus no govs piena.

Tā kā siers tiek ražots pilsētas teritorijā, piena produkcija tiek iepirkta. Sieriem ar samazinātu sāls daudzumu un Jāņu sieram produkcija tiek iepirkta no piena pārstrādes uzņēmuma “Straupe”. Bezlaktozes sieriem produkcija tiek iepirkta no AS “Jaunpils pienotava”. Savukārt olas tiek iegādātas no Ropažu zemnieku saimniecības “Rasas”.

The tour from Riga to Tallinn combines natural, cultural and culinary heritage and includes lovely landscapes and 15 nature trails which cross marshlands, meadows and forests along the shores of the Baltic Sea. The itinerary brings you directly to where local specialities are produced so that you can enjoy them freshly made and authentic. You will watch lamprey being prepared for you on a grill, and you will savour treats such as home-made ice-creams where they use eggs from happy hens of the farm, smoked meat from local farms, and many others. On this tour, you will become a true expert of the traditional and modern Latvian and Estonian cuisine.

As the farms producing foods are often located in beautiful nature areas, you will combine culinary and nature experiences on this tour. There are many nature trails equipped with viewing towers for birdwatching. Randu meadow near Ainaži contains one third of Latvia’s entire plant species. A boardwalk leads through reeds to a viewing platform with views over the meadow and the sea. Saaremaa Island has a great variety of natural attractions that are different from those on mainland Estonia. There are dolomite cliffs, juniper heaths, a meteorite lake and rocky sea shore. The tour passes rural farms and traditional villages typical of the coastal areas. Hiiumaa Island is a laid back place and retains a very Estonian atmosphere with an important bird reserve at Käina Bay, unusual Sääre Tirp, as well as several small islets off its south-eastern coast. This tour will surprise you with the diversity and unusual products of farms.  You will visit several farms that offer ecological produce that can be tasted and purchased.  From Vilnius, you will travel to an ecological goat farm that offers 60 types of cheeses made of goat milk.  Next you will visit an ethnographic Lithuanian farm that breeds horses and sheep.  You will spent a day in Kaunas to visit the Nemuna River valley, as well as the Raudone and Panemune castles.  A picnic at a farm with acorn coffee, pancaked baked on a campfire and soup made of locally picked wild mushrooms.  The ecological Buivydai farm breeds cattle and grows blackberries.  Along the way you will visit the Courlandian Dune, the Sea Museum and Delphinarium and the most popular spa town in the dunes, Nida.  From there you will drive to Latvia, where the Pape Nature Park offers a look at wild horses, and the ethnographic Ķoņi village is an old seashore fishermen's village.  In Liepāja, it will be worth visiting the local market, which is more than 100 years old and offers seasonal vegetables, fruit, greens and flowers from local farms.  Next you will visit an environmentally friendly farm that has 130 different types of apples and a wine operation that prepares wines from local fruits and berries.  The farm uses biodynamic farming principles to grow beans and peas, as well as to breed livestock so as to produce tasty sausages.  Next you will visit the lovely  Medieval town of Kuldīga and its brick bridge across the Venta River.  An environmental health farm will allow you to enjoy herbal teas and learn about various ecological cosmetics made of plants from the clean environment.  Along the way you will enjoy the landscape of the ancient Abava River Valley and visit the Sabile wine hill where grapes are grown to produce local wines.  Next you will visit the charming small town of Talsi, where you will find the Latvian Agriculture Museum.  The tour will conclude at a farm which grows fruits and vegetables and offers syrups, jams and canned vegetables.  You will complete you tour in Rīga.

The stadium was opened in 1938 and has been rebuilt several times since then.  Outside the stadium is a memorial stone to honour of Jānis Dāliņš (1904-1978), who set several world records in race walking.  He won a silver medal at the Los Angeles Olympics in 1932.  The first Three Star Olympiad was held in the stadium in 1993.  The stadium is of national importance as an athletics stadium that hosts international competitions and various athletic activities.  It is known as the most youth-friendly facility of its type.

This farm breeds alpacas, llamas, camels, burros, ostriches, Dutch rams, chinchillas and rabbits.  Together with the owners, you can feed and pet the animals and take selfies with them.  Pergolas are part of the charm of the venue, and the local café will offer you coffee and snacks.  You can also purchase souvenirs and things made of alpaca wool.

Andris Roze is one of very few kokle makers in Latvia who manufactures the instrument and helps others to do so at master’s classes.  Roze also manufactures other traditional musical instruments, demonstrates them, offers consultations about them, collects them and gathers together historical information.  He works at the Drabeši Crafts House, where people can learn traditional skills such as weaving, processing of leather, felting, pottery and construction of musical instruments.

These two lakes, along with Lake Mazezers, Lake Auziņš, Lake Skuja and Lake Bruņķītis, are found in a sub-glacial depression with shores and hillsides that are home to various kinds of forest, including stands of broadband trees such as ash. The guest house is located in Varnja Old Believers village and on the Onion Route - a destination on the shores of Lake Peipsi, the largest lake in Estonia and the trans-border lake of the European Union. It is about 45 km from Tartu.
