Conference and recreation center "Zvīguļi" is located in the territory of Gauja National Park, 10 km from Sigulda - with picturesque and untouched nature on one side and Sigulda highway (A2) on the other. From the inner courtyard there is a forest, from which, walking along a relief, nature-created and well-groomed path, you will reach the bank of the river Gauja in 15 minutes. When you drive down the Nereta-Ilūkste road, the church, which was built in 1805 and restored in 1888, can be seen from a distance. The altar, pulpit and organ prospectus are all original. German soldiers who fell during World War I are buried outside of the church. Two plaques on the western wall of the building honour residents of the Laši Parish who died during the First World War, as well as those local residents who suffered Soviet repressions. |

It lies between Pīlādžu street and the left bank of the river Siliņupe. In the 3rd to 2nd millenium B.C., there was a fishermen and hunters' settlement in the place of which there is installed an informational commemorational stone (Sculptor O.Skarainis). The settlement near the river Siliņupe is the oldest known human settlement in the area of the Ķemeri National Park. There are found many artifacts: pottery fragments and arrow tips, flint and amber pieces, etc..It is possible that the adjacent residential area has been the place of a cemetery. A small portion of the finds is displayed at the Lapmežciems Museum, the other ones are located in the National History Museum of Latvia. |

A tour of professional farms to offer a look at modern and technologically developed farms. During the introductory day, participants will tour Rīga, which is part of the UNESCO List of World Heritage, and the Rīga Central Market, which is one of the largest closed markets of its type in Europe. The next day there will be a meeting with specialists from the Latvian Agriculture Ministry and agricultural NGOs. Next we will tour an ecological facility for farm waste, which is a pan-European initiative in the context of which heat that is manufactured is used to heat greenhouses, thus ensuring an ideal environment for farming (flowers and tomatoes). We will visit innovative farms that collect birch juice for products such as biological birch juice wine (rose, semi-sec), biological birch juice foaming wine, birch juice lemonade, and syrup. The next morning will begin with a visit to a farm that produces high-quality vegetables and potatoes, successfully dealing with the storage and sale of it produce, as well as with logistical aspects of the process. Along the way, we will visit the ruins of the Koknese castle, which is on the banks of Latvia’s legendary Daugava River. We will also visit a farm that grows hemp for various food products. We will spend the night at an aristocratic estate that is now a complex for accommodations and spa treatments. The next morning, we will be off to one of Latvia’s newest beer breweries for a tour and tastings. Around noon, we will visit a farm that manufactures co-generated biomass head during the winter and heats greenhouses. We will return to Rīga in the evening. |

This cycling route will take you from Riga along the West coast of the Baltic Sea of Latvia and Lithuania. On the way the route passes the sea resort Jurmala with 19th century wooden archicture, the picturesque Abava river valley, geologicaly interesting steep banks of Jūrkalne, historically exiting city of Liepaja with great ambience and charming Kuldiga with the widest waterfall in Europe. In Lithuania the route goes through Palanga where Amber Museum is located and culminates at the National Park of the Curonian Spit with 60m high sand dune. |

Baznīcā apskatāma altārglezna “Kristus augšāmcelšanās”. Dievnams tāpat kā daudzas citas pilsētas ēkas ir būvētas no apkaimē sastopamā izejmateriāla – dolomīta. Interesanti, ka tornis būvēts ēkas vienā malā – asimetriski. |

The Cheese hut dates back to 1768 and was once part of the Kalnamuiža (Smiltene) Estate. It is the only object of industrial heritage that is still found in Latvia. On the first floor there was the storage of milk and a set of cheese pots. Stairs to the second floor have been lost. The second floor was used to dry cheese, and the process was facilitated by holes in the walls of the hut so that the wind could help in the process. Although the holes have been filled up, their placement can still be easily seen. The Cheese hut is alongside the ruins of the Medieval castle in Smiltene. Sadly, it is in terrible shape and can only be viewed from the outside. |

An age-old twisting postal road between Tartu and Võru takes travellers to Varbuse postal station dating from 1863. The Estonian Road Museum is housed in this well-preserved complex of a postal station which creates a wonderful setting for displaying the history of travelling and roads, traffic regulation and machinery. Cross-sections of road pavements disclose the secrets of road building. An outdoor display shows stretches of historic roads from Estonia and former Livonia creating an authentic ambience of the past. |

Found in the centre of Džūkste, the monument that was set up in 1990 was blown up in 1990, and the current one was made from the ruins of the destroyed one. The monument commemorates troops from the 19th Division of the Latvian Legion who fell during the so-called Christmas battles in 1944. |
