Centre stage on the a la carte menu of the restaurant is devoted to premium quality game meat dishes. Fish lovers will enjoy just caught Siberian sturgeon in the Sangaste Loss pond, ensuring that ingredients are always fresh. Ancient cooking techniques, such as baking on a bonfire in natural smoke, are honoured.

This is for people who enjoy forests, wildlife, local traditions and has a specific interest in the different species of funghi. Everyone could try their hand at mushrooming, identification and by the end of the day together with guide sort out the collected mushrooms. The tour passes several national parks and late back villages. The group will also visit to one of shitake mushroom growers for comparison reasons.

The Rāmkalni recreation park is located on the side of the Murjāņi-Valka highway (A3), in the Gauja valley. It offers skiing in winter and cycling, boating, and tobogganing in summer. The restaurant and bistro serves both Latvian and Western European cuisine. Various countryside goods can be purchased in the shop.

This is a sand dune that is covered with pines and has a monument to soldiers from Company 6 in Rīga, who defended the city in 1919.  It was from this place that the soldiers went into battle against the numerically much larger army of Bermont-Avalov to liberate Rīga and its Pārdaugava neighbourhood.  Created by the sculptor Kārlis Zāle, the monument features a wall facing Slokas Street that is 12 metres tall and is a depiction of the head of a lion that was once part of the gates to Rīga.  The side walls on both sides have bas relief depictions of Ancient Latvians and soldiers from 1919.  Atop the dune is an area with an altar, a sacrificial dish, and a memorial plaque to commemorate those who fell in battle.  The monument was unveiled in 1937 by President Kārlis Ulmanis.

Then visit Dundaga Castle and try local diary products there. At Roja experience local traditions having fishermen meal and attractions Then the route goes along unspoiled seaside beaches of Cape Kolka to well maintained town of Ventspils from where it turns inland to the picturesque Kuldiga with well preserved wooden architecture. Further on enjoy beautiful Milk Manor where you could experience lavish spa treatments based on milk. There is also Milk Museum located where you can follow the milk route from a cow to the tables, also possible to try some old fashioned practical jobs like butter making. Further on the tour turns sweet. Visit candy factory in Saldus where traditional hand-made toffees are made. Then on menu is ice-cream at Druva. Next - sightseeing at Jelgava which used to be the main seat of the Duke of Courland. Visit cheese producer at Eleja and before returning to Riga visit splendid Rundale Palace which is regarded as a beautiful pearl of the Baltics.

This small wooden church with fragments of a metal gate is on the side of the road in the village of Ruduški.  It is not open to visitors on a daily basis.

The best place to look at the restricted area of the Vīķi swamp and the Lielauce lake which is in the middle of that swamp is the Lielauce castle, where a wooden pathway stars. The pathway will lead visitors across the swampy shores of Lake Lielauce and deliver them at a boating area on the open part of the lake. The swamp itself is to the South-east of the lake. The restricted area is there to protect biotopes and species in the area.
